The book is set in Las Vagas and New York.In the story, Violet(the female lead) is in a loveless marriage with Damon. He torments and abuses her. Violet was sold to Damon by her father to pay off his debts. Damon abuses Violet. Whenever she tries to run away or escape him, he punishes her or kills a loved one of hers for her to stay with him.She thinks Damon is powerful and no one is capable enough to save her, she tries to kill Damon on her own but he kills their child in front of her as a way to keep her to stay with him.Violet bumps into Salvatore at Damon's office, he falls in love with Violet instantly. Damon is to pay Salvatore a sun of fifty billion dollars and reimburse him for his wrecked goods, Salvatore learns Damon is abusing his wife, he offers to forgive Damon in exchange of his wife but Damon is adamant on not giving away Violet. Salvatore installs secret cameras in her room to watch her. Damon tries his best to protect Violet. Damon rushes her to the hospital but with a lot of security on ground, an insider in Damon's house working for Salvatore hears of the plan and tells Salvatore everything, Salvatore and his men place themselves strategically around areas of the hospital, Salvatore pretends to be a doctor and enters the ward with Violet, he revealed his identity to her and held her hands while she was in labour, she gives birth to twins, a boy and a girl and she names them Heaven and paradise. Salvatore's men kills all of Damon's men rendering him defendless, he gets taken and tied up in an empty basement, he gets tortured daily till Violet is strong enough to meet him, Salvatore tortures him for hurting Violet and she was giving the honour of taking his life, before Damon dies he reveals who sold her to him, Violet meets her father and slaps him hard till she was held back, she screams at his face telling him how much he has made her suffer, he apologises for his mistakes but she tells him that she could never forgive him, he commits suicide to be free from his guilt. Salvatore, Violet, and the kids all relocate to New York to start afresh, Salvatore loves her and teaches her to love. He also helped her heal from her trauma, and they lived happily forever.
