Lyra James is a human among wolves. Being the only person in the pack that can't pop out a pair of fuzzy ears has left her cast aside and struggling to help make ends meet for her family.  Her life in Crescent Valley couldn't be any more mundane, that is until a stranger comes blazing in on a motorcycle to turn her world upside down. He claims he is her mate and that a rogue shifter is after Lyra for her powers. What powers?  Lyra doesn't have a magical bone in her body. But her so-called mate just doesn't seem to get the memo. Before she knows it she's locked up in the middle of nowhere with him and a warlock; both equally dangerous and determined to stake their claim on her. Getting kidnapped is bad, being hunted by a deranged wolf is even worse. If Lyra wants to survive she will need to surrender her heart and accept all of what she is.
