Whisper to the MoonUpdated at Jul 29, 2026, 06:07
Five years ago, a wolf saved my life.
He wiped the blood from my face in a snow-covered forest, told me to hide, and walked into the moonlight. I never forgot the three silver scars on the back of his neck. I drew his face for five years. Then I found him.
Now I walk into his pack as a human sacrifice.
He doesn't remember me. He doesn't even look at me. To him, I'm just another human—dirty, weak, worthless. He lets his Beta try to eat me, tells me to get lost, and throws a gnawed bone on my doorstep.
But I stay. I fix things. I heal wounds. I plant seeds in the frozen ground. One by one, the pack starts calling me by my name.
He still won't say it.
Everyone in this pack loves me. Except him. And he's the only one I came for.
This is the story of the night I stopped waiting.
