Cass is not your average college student. Then again, she isn't attending your average college either. Cass grew up as the only orphan in her coven, and since there were no orphanages, she had to stay with the coven leader's family. She never really felt like she belonged in that home or that coven though, especially since her powers still hadn't manifested. Most witches and warlocks had their powers manifest before puberty, but not even a spark appeared for Cass. She's hoping to learn more about herself and how to activate any suppressed abilities while at college. Wayland is the future Alpha of his pack. His father is ready to pass the reigns to him after he finishes his time at college. Wayland knows his role in life, is ready to run a pack, but is that pack meant to be Red Falls Pack or some other out there? When a series of murders begin to happen on campus and in the local town, the four continue to find themselves in the midst of each investigation. More and more time together means less and less opportunity to hide from their feelings. Cass also can't deny that a flicker of power begins to appear and shine brighter the more she's around these men.
