Lucy Hewitt manages her local small-town coffee shop while juggling boy problems and a potential stalker who visits her shop daily. She fantasizes of breaking out of her rut to pursue her dream of one day gathering the courage to try stand-up comedy at her favorite open mic night, but can't quite find the right inspiration to write a good set when nothing interesting seems to happen around her.
