The book is about a secret society that humans don't have a clue about. It's filled with vampires Lycans and many other shadow creatures. There are a few prominent families of different races that get thrown together to try to save their kingdom and end up falling in love and having to fight this epic war. The first book takes place in between two different times. A human male who writes science fiction finds a diary of two siblings. In finding the diary he is thrown into the epic war when his very own daughter who disappeared sometime ago is a link between the two worlds.
