I have been writing since middle school with my very best friend. She and I would each choose characters and then take turns responding for each in our story.
I get my inspiration from her. She makes me a better writer. I hope I can do my own writing justice without her responses to push me further. ????
In every interaction, every conversation, every relationship there are rules. If you don't know what they are, you're probably breaking them.
For a girl who seems to break every rule of engagement, life is hard. Friendships don't come easily. In the end, are the rules really so important or will paying the ultimate price be justified in the end?
Kitras are bound to their Gaja from the beginning. Some find their bond so great they create a family and live their happily ever afters. Some must find a way to balance family and bond. A kitra can survive without their Gaja but a Gaja has to take a supplement if they're to be without a Kitra. Their bond is a life force, a mutual gift.
Follow several families as they wrestle with love, war, and revenge on a daily basis. What is love and what is just a bond? How loyal is your Kitra? How much are you willing to sacrifice for one another and make it one more day?
Wes and Harper have a tortured past. A past that left them going separate ways, unable to reconcile. It's been 20 years since they've seen one another but both had changed and made a life. Can they close the chapter they shared or will they fight for a future together?
