story of a young African womanChapter 1my name is Jennifer David, am from eastern part of Nigeria, I was born in the family of Mr and Mrs David in the year 5th of April 1997. I am the first born of my family I have a sister and two brothers. I was born into a poor background my father is a farmer while my mother is a Petty trader in our village local market. life was so difficult while growing up because my parents find it so difficult to feed and train my siblings and I in school. So as first born of the family I have to assist my parents in providing for the family so I started hawking on street so that my siblings and I will be able to feed and go to school. Its not easy for me as teenager but I have to accept my fate and believe in God for liberation.Chapter 2one farming season, there was a great flood in my village the flood destroy people's farmland including my father's farmland. life become more tough and rough for us cause my father couldn't bring anything out from the farm and he lost the only farm land he has. By the Grace of God I manage to finish secondary school and I have to face life in full. I started doing all kinds of job to assist my mother, since my father lost his farmland, my mother become the breadwinner of the family.My father changed completely because of depression and frustration, He became full time drunkard. My once peaceful family became a war zone because my father turned into a bitter soul he gets angry in every given opportunity.Chapter 3After my secondary school with the help of a friend I started working in Mr Henry's shop as a sales rep. Mr Henry is a very tall and handsome young man with a light skin and a kind hearted man. He has wife and two beautiful kids a boy and a girl. Mr Henry was so nice to me he took me as his younger sister and I was dedicated to my job. Due to my boss kindness towards me his wife thought we were having an affair. One day, I was sitting outside looking for customers Mrs Henry my boss wife called me. Jennifer, Jennifer!!! I answered ma come inside said Mrs Henry I entered she said sit down, I seated, she continues Jennifer I don't like the way your are to close to my husband I think you two are having an affair and I want you to leave my husband's shop and never return here is your salary take it and leave at once!!!!!I pleaded and pleaded but she turn a deaf ear so I stand up and leftChapter 4As I was approaching towards our house, from a distance I saw my mother and siblings crying with our luggage outside I have to run inorder to know what was going on, I asked my mother with curiosity and a terrible look on my face, I asked mummy what's going on?? my mother was crying uncontrollably she couldn't answer me , my younger sister Stella answered me " sister Jenny daddy throw us out and he said we are the cause of his misfortune. I was so confused and keep asking myself what sin I committed to deserve a day like that . I lost my job, my home and my father. So that day became the worst day of my life. Chapter 5My mother has a sister in the neighbouring village named mary, Aunty mary is my mother's maternal cousin, she is married to Mr okoye and she has two kids Ada and Isaac.Immediately she heard about our terrible situation she asked for us to come, so move into her house because we don't have any option, we needed a place to stay for that moment, they gave us one room to stay.So the next day I started looking for a job luckily for me I got one, I got a job in bank as a cleaner through the help of a neighbor whom I have to share my salary with.After six months in my Aunt's house she started treating us like slaves she talks to my mother anyhow she pleases. Life become more hard for us, to extent that my siblings have to drop from school and start working so that we be able to save money to rent a small apartment.One afternoon After my mom and Aunty had a small fight she asked us to leave her house. So with the little money we have we rented a small apartment.Chapter 6After three years I started online blogging and influencing, after five years of setting up my social media accounts God shined his lock on me I started gaining millions of followers on my social media accounts, I was to able to start up a business for my mum, I send my siblings back to school and I also go back to school, due to hard work, determination and fucus God changed my story. I became an ambassador to many companies, I set up a cosmetic brand for myself now I have over 20 staffs working for me.In this life you don't need any rich background to be successful all you is God, yourself, determination and hardwork. success is a long walk you have to be patience and steady
