Elena Reid is your classic American “girl next door.” She lives a normal life in the beach town of Del Mar, California as a high school senior. When her high school unexpectedly offers a planned spring break education trip for all senior students to Thessaloniki, Elena knows she finally has the opportunity to get the answers she has always wanted.
