Lautaro is a 27 year old man, that works on a hospital as a guard, he faces an extreme feeling of disdain for life, and a total apathy for his future or his well being; often times he finds himself felling an immense jealousy of people that can simply ignore the absurdity of life, and just take a leap of faith in believing in something that nourish their lives with an inherent meaning.
This is something he wishes he could obtain, however he knows that he could never lie to himself like that, into believing in something as fanciful as that, for he knows that deep down inside of him, he will always be suspicious of the authenticity of those beliefs.
One day at work, something occurs, an incident that abrupts with the monotony of his day to day life, a big noise can be heard at the back of the hospital; when he rushes alongside with medical staff into one of the backrooms, he sees the horror, a nurse is layed on the floor, a huge gash can be seen on her neck, a puddle of blood expands beneath her, until the blood reaches to a body next to her, it's the floor janitor, who is also laid with his face down to the floor, once they turned him around, as some medical assistants try to attend the wounded nurse, they realize that the janitor's fate is actually far worst, his face is completely peeled off of it's skin, they all stand in horror, as they check on what would seem like merely routine vital signs, they realize somehow he is still alive, while the nurse has passed; they all stare at the back door and wonder what could have happened there.
This incident triggers a series of events that would put his life, the philosophy in which he believes in and his livelihood in jeopardy, as he himself begins to question whether he knows about the nature of the incident that took place, or worse, he has being, to some degree accomplice, to the hideous events that had transpired on that day.
