Clash Of The Alphas: A Marriage For TruceUpdated at Nov 8, 2025, 03:11
“You know you want this,” he whispered, grazing my thighs with his cold hands, making me gasp.
I pushed him back, my face flushed, “I don't want this. This is just the matebond effect!” I snapped.
He smirked, sweeping his hair backwards with his hands, making my wolf purr.
I hated that every move of his made my thighs clench. I hated that I could feel him so intensely even when I didn't want to.
His scent of lust lingered in the air, “The matebond only intensifies feelings that were already existing. I'll wait for you,” he cooed, his eyes flashing with restraint.

The Silver Oath Pack and the Bloodreign Pack had been at war for many years, both packs sustaining losses from the hatred.
In the middle of the chaos, the prophecy of my marriage to Alpha Artik came and I refused to accept it
I went out to look for my mate, believing that finding him would make it easier to reject the prophecy.
Fate turned cruel when the mate I sought turned out to be the man I hated most.
The prophecy also foretold that if I didn't marry Alpha Artik, both our packs would fall to ruin. So I agreed out of duty.
However, it did nothing to lessen my hatred for Alpha Artik.
I was going to teach him a lesson, husband or not. That was the goal, but as time passed by, my goal blurs as I discovered myself falling hard for Artik.
I still hated him, though I wasn't sure if I wanted him dead anymore as I grew used to his hands on me.
But when a new enemy arises, I wasn’t prepared to discover the truth.
That the enemy I feared most was sleeping beside me.
