When Jack asked me if I wanted to go with his stepmum.and sisters, I was relieved. The truth is I had seen a few things that I liked as I had been walking around with Jack and Jacob, but I hadn't wanted to say anything. Not because I was feeling awkward about the money anymore, though I still was a bit, but because I had a feeling that Jack would insist on me trying on clothes I liked, and I didn't feel confident enough to put on the expected fashion show in front of him.
I mean he was going to be paying for the clothes, it was to be expected that he would want to see what I was buying before he spent his money on it.
