I stared at the Lycan King, who paused from talking while Julio continued clenching his jaw in fury. I knew that since we came in the Black Moon Pack, he had treated me as his rival to the throne. I wasn’t stupid how many times he tried to ruin my confidence. My mother seemed surprised. Perhaps she didn’t know that the Lycan King was preparing a great test to see who deserved to get the throne.
“The soon-to-be Lycan King needs to find the endangered plants.” He raised his goblet and drank his wine before he continued, “It’s a plant that we can’t still find. This plant is the only one they use to heal those dying. It’s used by those healers whenever they need to heal someone. We don’t know if it still exists, but we have the picture of it.”
