Lost in Paradise

Feeling nervous and excited, Nadia patiently waits inside the car as it is slowly moving closer to an old but glamorous church. The classic VW Beetle that Nadia is riding stopped right in the front door of the church. The driver in suit and tie immediately stepped out to open the door for her as she carefully got out of the car while supporting her gown. He then handed her a bouquet before going back to the car. She’s wearing a simple yet elegant embroidered long white gown that made her natural beauty to flaunt and further enhanced by minimally designed brilliant accessories. A long white veil is covering her face but the agitation and happiness are still evident in her face. Finally, one of her dreams will be fulfilled. She took a deep breath as she now stands at the close entrance of the church until it gradually opens. The blinding lights from inside flashed through her face, she took a deep breath once more then slowly walked through the aisle. She immediately saw her friend Rebecca and behind her are close relatives, friends and other guests she doesn’t know personally. But instead of smiles, she’s seeing different on their faces, they all seem so worried. Nadia tightens her grip on the bouquet as Rebecca approached her and said... “Nadia, I’m sorry... He’s not coming” Nadia didn’t answer. She dazed and dropped the bouquet. “I kept on calling him but he‘s not answering. No one knows where he is.” Rebecca added. Nadia's tears immediately dropped as she fell on the floor of the church. Rebecca immediately approached her but the maiden’s world turns black all of the sudden.
