Bang! Bang!! Bang!!! The sound of guns shattered the silence of the night in Seville, Spain. Four individuals were trying to escape the chaos. The man was carrying his unconscious wife. A tragic sight: the woman's face was ghostly white and her head was gushing blood. A girl who was holding that man's child trailed behind him. The youngster was jolted awake by the tremors and began to cry, which led the pursuers to their whereabouts. The girl hastily covered the child’s mouth. The child's burden became increasingly difficult for the girl to manage as she ran, for reasons that remain a mystery. She was nearly gasping for air. The four of them came to Spain for a nice vacation. They were having a fun time. Who would have thought that they would end up having beef with some local gangsters? The careless wife who secretly visited the casino behind her husband’s back took the fall. The inebriated men punched the wife, which caused her to bleed and, in the end, made her pass out as the chaos began. The husband was with his son, showing the serene beauty of a Seville night. He peered out of curiosity at the din outside the casino and saw his wife. He sent his son to play with the girl next to him as he rushed to his wife's rescue. The fact that the gangs were actively trying to kidnap her meant that he couldn't. The husband's only option was to physically harm them in order to remove his wife. Nonetheless, additional criminals pursued the downed gangs upon their call for assistance. The pursuit of the prey began at that moment. Apparently aware of the danger lurking outside, the inhabitants kept their doors firmly shut, resulting in a peaceful night. In every single house, not a single light was on. The streetlights were the sole means of obtaining directions. The family approached the river after a harrowing sprint, their lives hanging precariously in the balance. There was a little pier with three boats on it. Gangs at the rear, water ahead. They might have stayed put and let the goons catch them or they could have escaped by boat. The husband placed his lifeless wife on a boat chair, and after that, he took his child from the girl, who was breathing heavily behind him. Instead of looking at her, he began to test the boat's electronics. He lacked experience operating a boat. He intended to become acquainted with the engine of the vessel. Behind him, a girl fastened a belt around the toddler and set him in one of the chairs. What had transpired just a few minutes before occupied her anxious thoughts. The abrupt violent event rocked her to her very being. She was very concerned about the family of three standing before her. She trembled slightly, as though she was afflicted by fear or chills. She felt lightheaded because her brain was all jumbled up. More than ever before, her heart was thumping. To regain her composure, she inhaled deeply. Her pulse rate decreased over time. The woman looked at the vessel. Amidst the murky depths, the boat floated serenely. As she beheld the incomprehensible water, she noticed that her saliva had dried up. Upon a perch, she sat. In the middle of nothingness, though, where would she find water? She couldn't help but scoff at herself as she desired to sip water. Even though she was floating on a river, she was unable to consume even a single drop of water. She had a melancholy thought. Was her life truly so much desired by fate? It was the middle of January, and that being said, the temperature was bone-chillingly low. A blanket of ominous clouds enveloped the sky. The moon ducked its head. It was going to start pouring at any second. Once again, the icy wind appeared to be the cause of the girl's shivers. It seemed like her flesh was turning icy. She was terrified of dying from hypothermia. Consequently, she attempted to shift her focus to another area. Ever since she calmed down, her head had been racing like a roller coaster. While contemplating something, her eyes glided along the dock. After that, she disembarked from the boat and retrieved her army knife. The fact that her clothing featured a concealed pocket for her army knife made her very happy. After she started the motors of the other boats, she swiftly severed the ropes that were fastened to the dock railing. In the dark river, the Guadalquivir, the boats floated aimlessly. In this freezing water, the gangs wouldn't have a chance unless they wanted to die. When the little one heard the motors, he began to cry once more. The girl felt terrible as the howls resounded throughout the entire area. There was complete silence on the dock that night. The baby's cries pierced the stillness of the night. She couldn't help but wonder why the small guy was betraying them in such a way. She still managed to muster up the guts to think of humorous ideas, even in this dire situation. However, there was an issue. As a result of the youngster’s wail, the assailants would learn where they were. She was sweating even in this chilly weather and her energy level was steadily declining. Feeling uneasy, she stroked her back, only to discover that it was damp. She made a slight squint. The streetlight made her blood splatter as she examined her fingers. About ten to fifteen minutes ago, she took the bullet to protect the man in front of her. She was too busy to consider anything else when she felt something hit her. Running with her life depending on it made her so distracted that she failed to perceive the impact. The realization that she had been shot caused agony. It wasn't until she examined the blood that she understood why her strength was dwindling with each passing second. She believed she was an incredibly strong person. Running a mile or so while carrying a child left her breathless, something she never imagined happening. She realized what was wrong with her when she looked at her profuse bleeding. An overwhelming sense of dizziness washed over her. A sound like footsteps approaching reached her ears. As they shouted while chasing the family, their volume increased as they approached. She hastened to get on the boat. This was a chance she couldn't pass up. Bang! Before she could reach the boat, another bullet pierced her right leg.
