I slept with a stranger whose face I never saw.

I only knew three things about him.

He was rich.

He was dangerous.

And he paid enough money to save my mother’s life.

I thought it would be a one-night secret.

Until I discovered I was pregnant.

With one baby… and two possible fathers.

Because the man I slept with wasn’t just one man.

He was two identical twin brothers.

One is a ruthless Mafia Alpha who rules the werewolf underworld.

The other is a cold billionaire tycoon who controls half the city.

Same face.

Same blood.

Same DNA.

But only one of them is my fated mate.

The other?

He is the man who would burn the world down before letting me belong to his brother.

The twins have hated each other since birth.

And now I am carrying the child that could decide their war.

Because in the world of Alphas, a baby with two possible fathers is not just a scandal.

It is a weapon.

And my unborn child might become the most dangerous heir the pack has ever seen.

CHAPTER 1 – Two Wolves, One Child
ARIEL’S POV I slept with two men in one night. The worst part? They had the same face. And now… I’m pregnant. The pregnancy test trembled in my hand. Two red lines. I stared again, hoping they would disappear. They didn’t. Still two red lines. Unforgiving. Final. My chest tightened. “No… this can’t be real.” The hospital smelled like antiseptic and fear. The harsh lights made my shame impossible to hide. My hand went to my stomach. Flat. Silent. But now… something was growing inside me. Alive. Undeniably real. I replayed that night like a broken nightmare. Two faces. Two identical men. Two wolves… wearing the same face. “Which one of you is the father?” I whispered into the quiet hospital room. Behind me, my mother's chair scraped softly. “Ariel, sit down,” she said gently. “You’re shaking.” I snapped. “Why are you even here? You just had surgery two months ago!” She looked fragile, calm, pale. “I’m your mother,” she replied softly. Evana, my best friend, stood near the door, arms folded, eyes cold. “You really planned to hide this forever? I told your mother everything. She knows now.” Rage exploded in me. “Evana, what did you do?!” “She needed to know that the surgery money came from you,” Evana said calmly. My mother’s eyes filled with quiet pain. “So… you planned to keep something this big from me, Ariel?” “I didn’t sell myself,” I whispered, voice cracking. Evana snorted. “One million dollars for one night with a stranger sounds exactly like selling.” I shot her a murderous look. “Shut up!” Silence fell. Heavy. Suffocating. I pressed my hands to my face. “Moon Goddess… I can’t afford this disgrace.” I stumbled toward the window. The cold glass pressed against my fingers. Six floors down, the world looked small. If I fell… the shame would disappear. And the tiny life inside me would never have to carry this mistake. “Ariel, what are you doing?!” my mother shouted. “Don’t you dare!” Evana yelled. I swallowed hard. “If I fall… everything disappears. I just… want the hurt to stop.” Hands grabbed me. Nurses, Evana. I slumped back onto the hospital bed. “Ariel, come to your senses! It’s not as bad as you think!” Evana scolded. One of the nurses spoke sharply. “Stay still before you hurt yourself.” Footsteps approached the door—slow, deliberate. The handle turned. I lifted my head. The doctor stepped in first, avoiding my eyes. “Doctor?” I whispered. No response. Then the door opened wider and footsteps approached. Slow. Measured. Two men entered. Both are tall. Both terrifyingly identical. Lucian Drake. Adrian Drake. Two men wearing the same face but living different storms. Lucian’s blue eyes were winter. Six-foot-three, tattoos climbing his arms, danger clung to him. Adrian stood beside him. Same height. Same sharp jaw. Same blue eyes and perfectly styled silver hair. But his posture was controlled. Danger hidden beneath calm luxury. His expensive black suit fit perfectly. A silver watch reflected hospital light. The moment their eyes met, the air seemed to darken. Danger hung between them. Predatory. Lucian’s tattooed arms moved slightly as he crossed them. “You came here thinking my child might be yours?” A quiet, dangerous laugh followed. “Funny.” Adrian’s expression didn’t change. Not even slightly. “You appeared exactly where I did,” Adrian replied calmly. Too calmly. “And let me be clear… that child is mine.” Lucian’s jaw tightened; a muscle ticked in his cheek. The room felt smaller. Like two wolves were deciding who would survive. My head swam as I watched them. Something inside me screamed that if either of them moved wrong… someone would get hurt. The doctor cleared his throat. “Gentlemen…” Neither man acknowledged him. Their eyes stayed locked. Not blinking. Lucian spoke first. “If you are lying, Adrian, I will make you regret breathing the same air as me.” Adrian’s expression stayed controlled. “If you touch her or the child before confirmation, I will bury you where no one will find you.” My mother stepped weakly between them. “Stop. This is a hospital.” Adrian glared but stepped back. Lucian hesitated. Then he looked at me. His gaze moved down my body slowly… And stopped at my stomach. Adrian followed the same movement. Silence pressed heavily against my chest. The doctor cleared his throat. “You’re eight weeks pregnant. There is another complication…” My fingers trembled. “What complication?” “The DNA results,” the doctor said slowly. Lucian crossed his arms. “Get to the point.” “…The test shows both men share 99.9% identical DNA.” The doctor continued. Adrian spoke quietly. “Yes. We know.” Lucian smirked. “Identical twins. Not surprising.” The doctor swallowed. “But the baby’s DNA… matches both of you.” The world froze. “What?” I whispered. Lucian’s voice was certain. “That’s my heir.” Adrian stepped forward immediately. “No.” His voice was calm but unbreakable. “She was with me that night.” Their eyes locked. Cold. Violent. Dangerous. I stared at both of them, my vision feeling unstable. “What are you talking about, Doctor?” My hands shook. “How can two men both be possible fathers?” The doctor took a slow breath. “Normally, even identical twins can be told apart through small genetic markers.” He glanced nervously at the two men before continuing. “But in your case… their Alpha genetics are completely mirrored.” He swallowed. “In all my years of practice, I’ve never seen anything like this before.” I blinked. Confusion clouded my mind. “So… science can’t tell who the father is?” He looked straight into my eyes. “Biologically… either of them could be.” Silence swallowed the room. My heart pounded against my ribs, wild and painful. Two of the most dangerous men in the city. Two identical wolves locked in hatred. And I… Was carrying a child that belonged to two men who could never stand each other. My hands shook. I won’t let this happen. “I don’t need either of you to claim my child!” I screamed. Everyone stared at me in shock. Then, suddenly, the hospital door creaked open slowly. Heavy footsteps entered the room and a tall figure stepped out of the shadows. My heart froze when I saw who it was. His voice cut through the room like a blade. “Never,” he said coldly, “will I allow this child to be born.” His eyes locked onto my stomach. “Over my dead body…”
