Episode 1: The Wife He Never Wanted
The grand ballroom of the Anderson family mansion glittered with crystal chandeliers and expensive decorations. Tonight was supposed to be a celebration, but for Amara, it felt like the beginning of a nightmare. She stood beside Daniel Anderson, the cold and dangerously handsome billionaire who had just become her husband. Daniel barely glanced at her. “Don’t get the wrong idea, Amara,” he whispered coldly as the guests congratulated them. “This marriage was arranged by our elders. It doesn’t mean I love you.” Amara’s heart sank, but she forced herself to remain calm. “I never asked you to love me, Daniel. All I ask is that you treat me with respect.” He gave a mocking laugh. “Respect? You should be grateful. Girls from families like yours dream of marrying men like me. Now you’ve got what you wanted.” Amara stared at him in disbelief. “Is that really what you think of me?” “Your opinion doesn’t matter.” Across the ballroom, Stella watched them with barely concealed anger. She had known Daniel since childhood and had always believed she would one day become his wife. Their families were wealthy, powerful, and familiar with one another. In Stella’s mind, Daniel had always belonged beside her. But tonight, another woman wore his wedding ring. “This isn’t over,” Stella whispered to herself. Standing beside her, Michael noticed the bitterness in her expression. “Stella, don’t do anything foolish,” he warned. She turned to him with an innocent smile. “What could I possibly do? Amara is Daniel’s wife now.” But the look in her eyes told a different story. Later that night, Amara entered the luxurious master bedroom, hoping to speak privately with her new husband. Daniel stood by the window, loosening his tie. “Daniel, can we talk?” He turned sharply. “What now?” “I know you didn’t choose this marriage, but neither did I. We could at least try to understand each other.” He walked toward her, his expression hardening. “Let me make something clear. You will never be Stella. You will never have my heart. And if you think this marriage gives you access to my fortune, you’re mistaken.” Tears gathered in Amara’s eyes, but she refused to let them fall. “I didn’t marry you for your money.” “Prove it.” “How?” “Stay out of my business, don’t interfere with my life, and never expect me to love you.” Daniel picked up his phone and walked out, leaving Amara alone in the enormous bedroom. She sat on the edge of the bed, staring at the wedding ring on her finger. She had entered this marriage hoping for peace. Instead, she had become the wife her husband never wanted. And somewhere in the shadows, Stella was already planning how to make sure Amara would never find happiness in that marriage.
