The Royal Flower
The Royal Flower is a sequel to The Royal Witch, but it can be read as a standalone.
It fast forwards into the future (21st century). Queen Soraya's youngest daughter, Carolina, has transformed herself into a flower to save herself from enemies in the medieval world. She can only return to her old form if someone plucks her. If that happens, she must serve the person for at least a year before she can move on. Not doing so could be fatal.
Because she blooms in the middle of a forest, it is nearly impossible to be noticed until a mysterious man comes and finds her. He is handsome as he is quiet. Surviving the 21st century means having a mentor to teach her the ways of the new world. He must also be willing to take her as an apprentice. If successful, Carolina can find a way to get back to her world, but will she want to?
Will Daniel want her to stay? After seeing him with another woman, his former flame comes back to the picture.
