little wonderer
There was a boy named Lucas who lived only with his mother, Maria. Lucas' father had passed away some time ago, leaving a quiet space filled with memories and unanswered questions.
Every evening, Lucas would sit by the window watching the stars blink awake. The world felt vast and mysterious, and his small mind was full of wonder.
"Why did Dad have to leave? What is life really about?" he often wondered silently, feeling a mix of sadness and curiosity.
One evening, as the sky turned a soft shade of twilight, Lucas approached his mother who was quietly folding clothes.
Lucas asked, "Mom, do you think Dad can see the stars too?"
Maria smiled gently, "I believe he watches over us, just like the stars watch over the night."
This answer comforted Lucas, but his mind still wove through bigger questions.
"If Dad is watching, then where is he now? Will I see him again someday?"
Maria sat beside him and took his hand in hers. "Life is full of beginnings and endings, Lucas. Sometimes we can't see everything clearly, but love always stays with us."
The boy looked out the window again. Though the night remained dark, the twinkling stars seemed brighter now. For the first time, Lucas felt a small spark of hope and a quiet eagerness to keep learning about the world and himself.
He understood that life might be full of mysteries and questions, but with his mother’s love and the memories of his father, he would find his own answers little by little.
