Dustin and Winter both about dropped to their knees from the pain of their mate's scream. Dustin was panting and holding his head from the pain of their mate’s screams, calmly saying, "Baby, remember, yelling in our mind link is really painful."
"Oh for the love of──I do apologize for yelling. I mean, how dare me yell when some crazy fucker is taking us to some guy that they don't even know. I mean, I should be far more calm when Midnight and Sky are unconscious and I'm tied up like a calf in a rodeo."
Dustin knew that his mate was scared and talking sarcastically, but he felt like laughing. Because if his mate can act this way, then that means he is in control and not panicking.
