Epilogue
Rey let his mates lead him forward. Dustin knew Rey didn't understand why he had to be
blindfolded, but he and Winter had a big surprise for him. The smell of hay must have caught his little mate's nose, causing Rey to sneeze, then ask, "Where are you taking me?"
"Just a few seconds more, baby." Dustin said softly.
A sound caught Rey's attention and he turned his head, Winter said, "Okay, Dustin."
Dustin removed Rey's blindfold. It took Rey a moment to get his bearings, and when he did,
Dustin saw the confusion on Rey's face. Dustin placed his hand on Rey's back as Winter clasped his hands, drawing him closer to one of the stalls.
"What? You guys got me a horse?" Rey asked with a smile.
Shaking their heads, Winter said, "No, but if you want one we would gladly get you one.
