Guilty conscience leads to suicide

463 Words
Jeremy Gehl had posted on his social media that he was feeling tired, just so tired. I'm sure he was because he was carrying around big secrets and will do that to you. He should take a load off of his mind by telling what really happened that night at Billy's trailer. Including everyone involved in the Cover-Up. Investigators say that after 5 p.m. Tuesday evening, Melissa Randolph, 33, Paoli, and her husband, Jeremy Gehl, 37, Paoli, became involved in a physical altercation inside their home in the 500 block of North Helm Street. Jeremy Gehl, 37, repeatedly stabbed his estranged wife Melissa Randolph. Their son, Leon, aged six, and daughter, Addison, age three, came downstairs after hearing the commotion and Gehl shot them. Police say Gehl then appears to have fatally turned the gun on himself. Their daughter, Addison, was pronounced dead upon arrival at Kosair hospital. Their son and Melissa are in hospital with 'serious injuries' following the incident. A third child who was also in the house at the time was unharmed. Family and friends have paid tribute to a 'precious' and 'beautiful baby girl'. A local news station reported that police arrived to find Randolph, who had managed to run outside, but was bleeding heavily. Police said she had the unharmed child in her arms. Gehl was pronounced dead by the Orange County Coroner's Office.   The station also reported that the married couple were estranged. Both Addison and her brother were flown to Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Addison was pronounced dead  upon arrival at the hospital and her brother is believed to be in a critical condition. Randolph was airlifted to the University of Louisville Hospital but was later transferred to Kosair to be with her children.  Indiana State Police, local sheriffs and the Paoli Police Department are investigating the killings. Jeremy's estranged wife survived the attack, Addison was the first of their two children that was pronounced dead at the hospital. Leon, the six year old son of Jeremy and Melissa, died two days after being shot at Kosair hospital. Gehl was living with the family in violation of a protective order that was filed in 2013. It was set to expire the following week. The protective order, filed in Orange Superior Court, prohibited Gehl from having direct or indirect contact with Randolph except as it related to their children. It also ordered Gehl to stay away from Randolph's residence and place of employment. Both Jeremy and Herman had problems with their temper, and have a complex that they are and we're untouchable by the law. They do not believe that they have to abide by the rules, laws, or regulations that are put in place that everyone else has to follow. They are able to do whatever they want, and do not have any consequences.
