Charmaine's POV I dragged myself out of bed, still feeling the weight of my emotions from the previous day. But I knew I had to shake it off, at least for a few hours. I had a shift at the coffee shop, and I couldn't let my personal life affect my work. I got dressed, grabbed a quick breakfast, and headed out the door.
