Charmaine's POV
Luca turned to me with a smile, his eyes sparkling with warmth. "Hey, would you like to come over to my place?" he asked, his voice low and inviting. I felt a surge of excitement, a thrill of anticipation that I hadn't experienced in a long time. For the first time, I actually felt like starting a conversation with him, like staying around him and getting to know him better.
"Where are you coming from?" I asked, curiosity getting the better of me. Luca chuckled and shook his head. "I was just out for a walk," he replied. "I needed some fresh air and a chance to clear my head." I nodded sympathetically, feeling a pang of understanding. "I know the feeling," I said. "Sometimes I just need to get out of the house and breathe."
