Chapter One: Newcomers. Nala POV Today we're having newcomers to the pack. Being a Luna means I have to be there Boring. "Daddy can't I stay home pleaaaaaaseeeeeeeee" I plead with him "Nala you know you're my Luna, you're supposed to be at my side and welcome them," Christian says. I know I should but doesn't mean I like it I don't like it at all, seeing new people who will gash and ohhss on how their new Luna is mated to the seven strongest in the pack or how she calls them daddy or my favorite one is "how does it feel to come back from the dead". You flat line and almost die three times and people think it's funny to make jokes or ask if there's a light at the end of the tunnels. You see, a couple of months ago I was kidn*pped and almost beaten to death if you think I'm bad you should see the other guy. I almost died but my mates wouldn't let me go and I wouldn't leave them, not ever we made a promise to stay together forever. Our pack is more famous, well when the alpha and his trusty six mates tear someone to pieces you know we aren't someone to joke with. Other wolves have been trying to join our pack some for protection and others to feed their power hunger. Every time we have new applications it goes through all seven of my mates. And if approved they got an interview with us. Which leads us to now, I so don't want to sit in daddy Christian office and listen to some people lying about how they'll be good and never a***e power, never use our pack name as leverage blah blah blah....been there done that. "Baby girl start getting dressed or I'll dress you myself" Christian warns me "How about we just undress, we can tell them to hit the road and have some fun," I say in my best sexy voice. Christian get closer to me and take me in his arms, he starts kissing my neck where his claiming mark is sending electricity straight toward my p***y, he keeps kissing going up toward my neck, chin, cheeks, and finally my mouth. It's a deep kiss full of dominance I love teasing him but he's taking none of it and take charge of our kiss. When he pulls back I'm more than ready to cancel the interview. "Baby doll it's our job as alpha pair now get ready," Christian says He goes to the door and just leaves, he leaves me as a wet Horney mess. Ohh I'm getting my revenge. I'm plotting my big revenge when Kyle comes in. "You ready sugar?" Kyle ask. "I don't want to go, can't we stay here just you and me" I give him my best puppy eyes, one of the advantages of having seven mates you'll always find someone to play with you. "Come on sugar it won't be that bad, " Kyle says. "But I want to stay and be with you" I try to go for a kiss but he dodges me, well look my revenge plan going to include Kyle too. After he got me Luna appropriate dressed, well he tried we ended up compromising with an oversized blazer short and tank, the minute the meeting is over the blazer is off and I'm out. Christian POV A very grim looking Nala come into my office along with kyle his twin Kane, my beta Ryland, our enforcer Aidan, doctor Stefan and finally Jace. The whole family is here. I try to ask Nala to sit next to me, her rightful place is at my side, but she declines and goes stand between Aidan and Ryland. Yeah, she's mad at me. Before I got time to say anything there was a knock on my door and the family that's requesting refugee at our pack comes in. They looked like they had better days, the father has black bags under his eyes his clothes are a size too big and dirty, and I can feel how tense he is, his mate a short woman with brown hair that's a mess, her arm is in a sling it looks broken. And finally their daughter the reason we accepted their transfer, a pretty girl with red hair she's short, her eyes look hunted, she looks at us straight in the eye, a bold move for a little puppy I know that she hadn't shifted yet although she's forty-five years old, the bullying in their old pack driven the family to move, well they didn't get out of it without some scratches. "Have a seat" I tell them in my alpha voice and the woman flinches, the father obliges and I can see the little girl is scared now. Maybe not so bold after all. We start talking about what is expected from them in this pack, how they contribute, job, financial help that we're offering till they get settled. After an hour of talking I can see the man and his mate relax, yeah they were accepted the second I saw the fear in the pup's eye. Right now the puppy that I learned her name to be Jennifer is looking at the window wishing to be out there. On my other side, I can hear Nala whining, she doesn't do well with staying put for too long. I look at her to see that she ditched the blazer and is begging Ryland and Aidan to let her out. "Luna, why don't you take Jennifer and show her around while we finish here," I say and my baby is paying me no attention, Ryland had to nudge her and to whisper what I said in her ear. She turns red and nods her head, going to the door with the read head following. I can feel those two going to be good for each other. Chapter Two: Friends. Nala POV Finally, they let me out, I'm walking with Jennifer, she looks young as young as me. She got long curly red hair, she's so cute. But I can see that's she's tense and scared I don't know her story or why she ended up here. Yeah I know shocker I'm the Luna of this pack but my mates won't tell me anything. "Soooo what would you like to do?" I ask the girl "Uhmm...whatever you want Luna" ~Jennifer I couldn't help but laugh, nobody calls me Luna except my mate when they want to tease me or get me to do something work-related, a Luna should do this or do that… "Call me Nala, how old are you," I ask. "I'm forty-five and dad said to call you Luna, you know respect" the girl Jennifer replies I don't get why she's so scared of me, maybe cause she's young or because I’m young or because I’m so famous. "Nah just call me Nala, nobody calls me Luna around here anyway. And I'm almost eighteen. Come on let me show you around " I assure her We're walking around with me pointing out as we go, the main house, the forest, my favorite track, we're walking toward the main clearance where the packhouses are, and ohh here comes my favorite friend-not. I and Jesse got a love-hate relation well mostly hate. The first time he ever saw me, he hit me and pushed me to the ground, I called my mates and daddy Aidan came to my rescue, well Aidan being 6'6 made of full muscles and his hair buzz cut, a beard and a prominent scar over his left eyebrow along with some smaller one all over his face and body and brown eyes. After he got in trouble, he and I have an unwritten -unspoken agreement to tease and torment each other, as long as he never lay a hand on me I don't tell my mates. "Luna what bring you, princess, around here, and who's the red?" Jesse says, he calls me Luna but not out of respect, the word is said with utter sarcasm. "Jesse nice to see you again" I reply with sarcasm as well. But he's not paying me attention his eyes are on Jennifer behind me. "So you're the new puppy? I got a friend in your original pack he said all redheads don't have souls, no wonder you never shifted " Never shifted, what? I look over at Jennifer and she looks on edge of tears. He gets closer to her playing with a lock of her hair, she's flinching from his touch. Ohhh Jesse just took it too far. "Hands off, "I say with a low growl, a trick I learned from Christian. "What's it to you, Luna she doesn't have seven mates, she's a free game" Jesse growl at me. Ohh no he didn't. "Jesse you got three seconds to keep your hands for yourself, she's under my protection touch her and I'll hurt you" we got in each other faces both of us growling low a fight about to break. "What's going on here? Nala Jesse back off both of you" came Zach's voice, Zach live with us in the main house he's Ryland cousin and like a big brother for me, oh and he's also a strong dominant alpha, not a great idea to mess with him. I took Jennifer's hand and skipped toward Zach, while Jesse growled one last time and left. "What's that about little sis and who's your friend?" Zach ask me nodding toward Jennifer "Zachy this is Jennifer she's new to the pack, I was showing her around when Jesse tried to bully her " I explain. "One day that pup going to land his a*s in deep trouble and he won't be able to get out of it. Anyway welcome to the pack Jennifer I'm Zach" he says and extends his hand for her and she takes it reluctantly. We're walking back toward the house when I decide to ask Jennifer what Jesse meant about shifting, she's avoiding my eyes and stuttering in a low voice. "Jennifer as your Luna I got the right to know now say that again" I really hate using my title but I need to know. "I didn't shift yet, I'm a late bloomer as my mum said and cause of my red hair the guys in my old pack used to bully me and say I'm a witch," she says with a broken voice, full of pain. I can hear how hurt she is, I can see tears in her eyes. The poor thing looks lost, and if I learned anything in this pack is that we offer support to each other. I took her in my arm and hug her, she's so thin I can feel her bones, she's rigid first probably think I'm going to hurt her but she then relaxes and hugs me back. "I'm sorry for that Jenny, but I meant it you are under my protection and no one can hurt my friends" I assure her Ohh my godddd she looks adorable all lost and scared. My wolf purr she likes the idea of helping someone who needs our help. I get spoiled all day around the house, and the thought of helping someone and having a friend my age, it's very tempting. "It's okay...you don't have to...you're Luna and I don't want to make you look bad or...."~ Jenny says and breaks down in tears. That poor thing needs a friend and she's getting one. I'm back to hugging her and trying to calm her down. When she's done I announce that she's getting a friend, Luna orders. I love my new statue. Chapter three: Revenge. Nala POV After we returned home jenny and her parent left to see their new house and start moving in. I'm back at Christian office and it's just me and him, he wants my opinion on Jennifer and if I think it's a good idea to let them move in, they usually take my opinion after they made their decision but if I say no then whoever wants to move in is out. Anyone who makes me feel uncomfortable isn’t welcomed here. "Daddy, why didn't you tell me about Jenny not being able to shift yet? And is that normal" I ask curiously about my new friend. "She told you?" Christian ask with disbelief. "Yes, she told me now answer my question" I huff annoyed. "Watch your tone princess, Luna, or not I can still take you over my knee for attitude adjustment" Christian threaten in a low voice. Yeah, he never has to yell to scare me and his threat is never something to mess with. I lower my eyes and say a quick sorry. "I didn't tell you cause it's something private I didn't want to embarrass her, she'd been bullied before" Christian explains "And you think I'll bully her??" I ask shocked and mad at the accusation. "Last warning watch your tone. And no I didn't think you will bully her, I wanted to give her a fair shot to make friends" he says. I'm plain hurt now "you know I wouldn't bully or think badly of her, we ran into Jesse and he said some mean words to her and I stood up for her. I even asked her to be my friend, cause that what you guys taught me to help the weeks. But thank you very much for your trust" I finish and leave the office. I can hear him calling my name but I ignore him too mad at him right now and he let it go for now.
