Love that never fades away

Sometimes things happen in our lives and we can't do anything about it . But we do have only have two options either run away or fight off it. I can't be much brave enough to be confronting myself with these words. I couldn't sleep well enough thinking about how my first day of highschool will be ruined when Alex will come back .Alex is my childhood friend, our parents are very good friends but me and Alex never had that type of bonding between us . Alex always bullied and teased me and the main reason of doing this was I was fat and ugly. We both studied together till middle school and then he went to Singapore. But now my friend Julia told that Alex is coming back and he will be studying in the same highschool as mine. I took my phone to check the time it was around 5:00am , I layed down on my bed with my eyes closed. Thinking that I should sleep otherwise I would feel drowsy during classes. I opened my eyes looking straight at the ceiling, bright sunlight was pouring through the window to my face. I took my phone and checked the time it was around 8:00am. I sat on my bed again thinking about Alex, highschool and stuff . My thoughts were interrupted by a sudden shouting of my mother telling me to come down to eat my breakfast . I wore a formal dress a jeans and a shirt with a denim jacket above it,seeing myself in the mirror I told to myself that now even if Alex tries to tease or make fun of me he can't because I am totally changed now. And again I was interrupted by my mom and dad too. I went down stairs and I saw my dad sitting on the dinning table and my mom cooking breakfast for us. Mom again was going to call my name out but then her eyes met mine and said "oh dear! how many times shall I call you, you should wake up and get ready by yourself otherwise you will be late for school" I said " oh mom stop lecturing me on my first day of highschool". She took her eyes off of mine and started making breakfast, I went and sat down on the dinning table beside my father, he looked at me said "good morning sweetie, did you sleep well tonight?", "morning dad, well I had a great sleep last night" I lied and said. He nodded at me and resumed his eating, mom brought me a plate of a toast with some toppings on it. I took my bag while my mom was waiting for me outside with her car, she told me that on the first day she will drop me off at the school. My dad said that he have a lot of work in the office today so he can't drop me at my school. I went outside outside and saw my mother in car I ran and got inside. We finally made it to my high school I saw my friends standing outside the gate and taking pictures. I got out of the car bid goodbye to my mom and went to Julia, Olivia and Charlotte they are my besties,we studied together in same school as well as same class and section.Olivia looked at me and pulled her chin up she shouted at me me saying "hey Emma, why so late? we were waiting for you like an hour or so. " They came towards me and asked how are you and lot of questions. They also said me that "Alex is coming back and more dangerous too, he is not that type anymore" making me feel more afraid and uncomfortable. We together went inside the school, it was just like my dream highschool. It had big passages with lockers on the side and students are chit chatting with each other. As we were talking with each other, I was bumped by someone and few books which I was carrying on my hand fell, I bent down to pick up my books when my eyes met that person shoe it looked like it was a boy's shoe.I stood up and suddenly my eyes met the boy's I was flabbergasted it was Alex. I never thought that I would meet him this way. I very hardly said "hi!" Alex was starring at me then after a long pause, he said "hey you have changed so much" all of a sudden a bell rang which shocked us Olivia pulled me at front and started running.Julia said shouting "come fast otherwise on the first day we will be scolded by teacher!" and finally we reached the classroom. Going inside we saw students taking with each other. I sat down at the last bench while Julia on front and Olivia on my left. A bell rang after a minute, then the teacher came in and gave her introduction, after the hat she told us to go to the assembly hall .Everyone headed outside together while Julia and Olivia was at the front leaving me at the end of the group.I was walking slowly and thinking how everything was going so fast and awkward too,i mean last night I was thinking about Alex and today on my first day of highschool I saw him that to in a weird way. We went inside the hall and stood in a line then we did prayers, the principal gave us a long speech on how we should behave in class. I was getting bored so I was looking around there I saw Alex and his friends talking and laughing with eachother inside me I felt disgusted.But on the other hand he has changed a lot since I met him during his farewell party,he wore a T-shirt and jeans also with a denim jacket above it. I was starring at him blankly after a while I realized that he was also starring at me, feeling embarrassed I looked on the other side. After a long time the principal gave us permission to go back to our classes, I am a bit slow walker that is why Olivia and Julia went forward while I was at the end of the row again. As I was going someone suddenly pulled me by my hand locking my mouth with hand. Bringing me at a room also realising me from the tight grip I looked at the person face it was Alex, he told me "hey Emma how are you? do you know that how much have changed, when I first saw you were ugly and fat but now you are looking such a hot chick" I was shy but still I answered looking downwards "yea hi I am doing very good nowadays, you've also changed so much" . Alex pulled my chin up and said smirking " I saw that during the assembly how you were starring at me with those puffy eyes" I got very angry and tried to go away from that place but Alex pushed me on the wall resting his hands on my shoulder he pulled his face nearer to mine I got hesitated and pushed him away and ran away from that place I did not stop until I reached the class. Finally I was near my classroom then I peeked into the the class,where I saw the teacher teaching the students I thought that it would be worthless going inside as half of the class was finished. I waited outside for a quite long time after the period was completed I went in and saw Olivia and Julia were talking with each other,then there eyes met mine they came forward and asked me a lot of questions before I could have answered our physics teacher came in. On and on our half class was completed, we went to the cafeteria and sat at the end of the row of tables I told them everything that Alex said and did to me. They started giggling and said "oh sweet heart I guess he could not get enough with you and your looks, look back". I looked back and saw Alex coming in my direction I took my plate and keeping it in the washer, I walked past by him and his friends but he did not mind looking at me but I noticed a smirk on his face. Our classes were completed me and my friends went to eachothers home, neither of my mom and dad came to take me home so I went home all alone by myself.
