Ever since Celeste had been home from the hospital, I had been staying at Jamie and Josh's house helping them with Celeste. The boys didn't want her to be alone, so I was on babysitting detail. Before Celeste had been let out of the hospital, Josh and I had come back to the house and cleaned up the kitchen.
Cleaning up my daughters blood off of the tiles of the kitchen floor, I had been reminded of just how close we had come to losing her.
