I was sitting in the lounge room with my father, Jamie and Celeste. We were all watching the news in silence when my father's cell phone rang. He quickly took his cell phone out of the pocket of his jeans, and looked at the display screen, before looking at me and saying, "It's your sisters lawyer."
"Answer it," Jamie said, as he gripped Celeste's hand in his.
My dad nodded to Jamie, before answering the phone, "Yeah this is Billy," he said.
He listened to what the lawyer was saying, and he looked shocked by what he was hearing. "I'm sorry, can you please repeat that?" he asked.
