The boys were gone and I was in the house with Loki. Jamie had taken Freeze with him to the base for their training run. At one point as I had watched a documentary on wolves, I had heard a knock on the door. I remembered what Jamie had said, about them not expecting anyone, so I had just stayed on the lounge with Loki.
Jamie had gotten home a little after five pm. I knew that by now Josh would be on his date. I was hoping it went well for him. When Jamie and Freeze came in through the garage door, Freeze and Loki started playing in the lounge room, and Jamie was carrying pizza and a grocery bag.
