Jamie's POV
She had finally woken up! I couldn't even begin to describe how relieved I had been to see her eyes open once more.
I looked up at Josh when he walked into the room a few minutes later, followed by Billy. "She woke up a short time ago," I told him.
"For real?" he asked, making his way over to stand beside Celeste's bed.
"Yeah, it was only for a moment, but she woke up," I told him.
"Man, that's great. It's a relief... a huge relief," he said, as he took a deep breath and slowly exhaled. I nodded in agreement, he was right, it was a relief. I looked over at Billy who was still standing in the doorway, his eyes were glued on Celeste. In that moment, I would loved to have known what he was thinking. I glanced back at Celeste, and it wasn't long before I was lost in thought
