Celeste I woke up in Jamie's room. I lay in his bed surrounded by the comforting familiarity of his possessions. I was glad to be out of the hospital. I didn't like hospitals. The smells, the noises, the constant check ups. You could never rest in hospitals. At least being back home, I had some quiet and I could rest up. Plus being home meant that Jamie could begin taking care of himself again now, and stop worrying about me so much. I was still dealing with pain from my injuries. I knew that the healing process was going to be a long one. But I was on the road to recovery, and my baby was safe. Reaching out, I grabbed Jamie's pillow from his side of the bed, and hugged it to my chest, breathing in his familiar smell. Gently rolling onto my side, so I didn't aggravate my wound too much
