The nurse and doctor came in and began to check Celeste over. I was relieved when they gave both her and the baby a clean bill of health. The doctor and nurse had assured us that Celeste would be able to go home the following morning after morning rounds. I was glad that I would have her home. After the doctor and the nurse had left, Josh had pulled me aside, and told me that he was going to go back to the house with Billy and clean up the mess that was still there following the incident with Lilly. I thanked him for his thoughtfulness. If I was being honest, I hadn't even thought about the state the house was in, my mind had only been on my wife and unborn child these past few days.
