EPILOGUEThe Lords of the Darkness were eradicated from the mortal plane. In doing so, all their contracts with humans were broken, as they could only be in the mortal plane to make a contract. The gates to Drannavil were sealed by immortal magic, so that the next time the Lords of the Darkness managed to open a portal in a few hundred years, mortals wouldn’t be able to unleash them on the human realm again.
The Avadierish emperor was assassinated the moment he was no longer temporarily immortal, and Grand Prince Laddiv ascended to the role of emperor. He kept to his word and released all conquered nations, so they could govern themselves, and turned the Avadierish Empire back into a small kingdom.
There was some backlash. But those who had vested interests in staying extremely rich, and
