“Mama, ano ang nangyari kay Uncle Kiero?” tanong ni Abby sa akin.
Kiero came home last night completely drunk. He was so drunk that he could barely stand on his own, so his twin brother, Kairo, had to help him get back to the house. This morning, Kiero was in a lot of pain on his side. I had planned to send him to the hospital, but he refused to go. Since he didn’t want to go to the hospital, I had no choice but to call a doctor to come over instead. The doctor didn’t say much to me, but he did give a prescription for Kiero to take some medication.
“Yan talaga ang mangyayari pag sobrang lasing.” Si Liam, galit ang boses, parang may ginawa nang kasalanan si Kiero. Oo nga, marami nga talagang kasalanan si Kiero dito, pero hindi naman iyon alam ng anak ko.
