Enchanted Heart

CHAPTER TWO

SARAH'S POV:

I woke up in a dark place. I look around me and realized that it's a cave. But how did I end up in cave? I lean against the wall and one by one I remember all the last night events. I was taken here by a wolf. It was a big brown wolf. I place my hand at my foot that is much better from last night. I tried to stand up and walk out of the cave.

I Start walking towards the exit. I walked and walked until I reached the main road. It was nearly 6 in the morning so the road was empty. I was walking lazily in my thoughts when I heard a honk of a car. I looked behind me and saw a mercedes. I moved away from his way but instead of going ahead he stopped near me, "Are you ok?"

I nodded, "Ah, yes, umm.. actually I am going toward the city." He nods and said opening his car door, "Get in, I will take you."

I look around me. The road is empty and I don’t want to take any risk. "Don't worry, I am a good person." I smile sarcastically, "No one introduce themselves as kidnapper." He nods and shut his door back, "Fine, happy walking" He was about to leave. I look around me. This place is not safe. I should take that risk.

"W..wait… I..I will go wi.. with you." He nods with a smile and I open his door and sat inside. He start his car and we head for a destination I am not familiar of. "So, where do you want to go?" I look at him and replied, "Ah.. can you.. ta.. take me to.. a..we.. welfare center?" He nods and reply and asked looking ahead, "Are you nervous?" I look at him and he replied feeling my confusion, "You stutter so much." I look down at my hands and replied, "I… I speak like.. tttthis." His smile fades and he looked at me with concern. I look into his black eyes and before I drowned in them I looked away.

The ride went by really fast and quiet. I fell asleep at his comfortable seat. In my dream I felt someone or something licking my face. It felt so good and so warm. A smile spread across my lips.

"HEELLLLLOOOO"

I wake up with sudden disturbance. I look at the man next to me and he pointed at the welfare center. "We have arrived." I nodded and passed him a smile, "Thank You." I went off from the car and without looking behind I went inside.

I introduced myself on the reception and told them my family kicked me out and I have nowhere to go. They asked me some more questions and than guided me towards a room. I am kind of happy that I don't have to suffer on the roads.

VINCENT'S POV:

It's been a week since I last saw that girl. I was sitting in my office room and looking into some files but my mind was still on that girl. She is not my mate but I love her. This is a first sight love.

I was in my thoughts when the door of my room open and my best friend and the beta of my pack walka in, "Alpha, I have a news, the rouges are found on our land." I rub my finger at my chin, "Gather each one of them and ask them to leave politely and if they demands to stay then make them sign our privacy policy papers and keep an eye on them if they are obeying or not?" He nods and walks out of my room. These ruges are bloody pain in the back. I open the file to make the changes in my file when my phone rings. I look at the screen and that was a call from my uncle. I rolled my eyes and pick the call.

V: " What? "

U: " How are you? How is your work going on?"

V:" Why do you care? Why did you call? "

U: "Stop showing me this attitude boy, I know I made a mistake by nit showing up at your birthday party."

V : "You Knew your presence is everything to me but you always ditch me."

U: HAHA! OK my boy. I am holding my ears. Now tell me what do you want for a gift?"

V: "I want you to be at my place tonight for dinner and then I will see if I will forgive you or not?"

U: "HAHAHAH! Ok son, I will be there. Goodbye."

V: "Bye"

I cut the call with a smile at my lips. Uncle Bryan is the one and only person who I trust and love so much. My own father never cared for me and I cannot forgive my father for what he did to my family. After I became the Alpha of my pack Black Moon, the first thing I did kick my father out of the pack and banished him from oir land for life. What he did to me will be in my heart forever. I close my eyes for a brief second and then I turned to my work again. I have invited my uncle on dinner and I have to finish my work before night. I don’t want to be the one to get late at his arrival. I start checking my files and nearly at lunch time I decided to have a cup of coffee with burrito from the cafe near office. I stood up and wore my coat and walk out of the office to buy myself some lunch. I entered in the cafe and went to the counter to order when I stopped in my tracks looking at the girl in front of me working as a order taker. She said looking at the screen, "Next please." I walk towards her and placed my order, She didn't look up and when she look up for a second she just handed me my bill and told me to get in next line. Did she forget me in a week? Strange.
