CHAPTER THREE

SARAH'S POV:

It's been a week that I started working as a

cashier in Tonny's Cafe. The work keeps me really busy. "Hey! Are you planning on joining us for movie tonight?"

I look at the person next to me, It was Lina my work partner and a good friend. In this week we got so much closer to each other. I smile looking back at the screen, "No, I am tired I would take some rest." She rolled her eyes at me, "Girl, have some fun, enjoy your life." I laugh at her words and start taking order of the next person. Nearly 5 o clock I got free from my shift and decided to have dinner at my home. I usually eat here before going but today I am not in the mood.

DARICK'S POV:

I was working on my laptop when the door of my room open and Jhon walks in, "Hey! Darick, You need to see this, The Black Moon pack has invited you to a party. I am curious what does they want? We don't have a good bonding with them.

I checked the card, "Hmm, That's suspicious, I think you should join me." He nods, "Yes, I am your beta of course I would join you." I nodded and look into my file again. I am a vampire and I am the head of the family. I also lead a mafia organization of humans. This seems like a joke that a vampire is ruling the human world. My work is to put fear in humans heart. I am behind many bomb blasts and accidents that happened in the city but no one knows my identity as a mob boss or vampire because I never showed this to anyone. People like me who are half human and half creatures can reconige me but humans are fool. They can't recognize me and my job is to kill as many human as I can and increase our vampires population. People who I turned into vampires are under me and worship me like a god. They present me their daughters as a gift and I love that gift. I shut my laptop and stood up to leave the office.

VINCENT'S POV:

I was sitting on the couch looking at my watch again and again, "Where are you uncle?" He is not here yet and I don't know what took him so long? I was in my thoughts when the door bell rings. I stood up and saw my uncle just arrived. I smiled looking at him, "What took you so long?" I hugged him like a baby and he hugged me back like I am the most important thing in his life. God I missed him so much.

When he let go of me he said placing his hand at his stomach, "I am very hungry. What's for the dinner?" I gesture toward the dining area. I specially made everything that he likes. We sat on the table and I start discussing my daily affairs with him, "I have invited Darick as well on my upcoming office party." I could see his curiosity from his face and I talk ahead, "I want to shake hand with him because he is living on half of our land and rouges are growing day by day. We need a big army against rouges if they attack us."

"That's really thoughtful of you. I think it's good if they shake hands with you but we can't trust them fully because we are friends with humans as well and Vampires hate humans. They are blood sucking monsters." I nodded while eating my chicken, "I will make them sign a contract that they cannot hunt at my land." My uncle nods and we talk a lot more before he decided to take his leave.

SARAH'S POV:

Today I got my first salary and I decided to rent a house and get out of the welfare center. I have been looking in for house ads and it didn't take me long to find a decent place. This place was really near to my work place and also it was close to jungle.

I shifted there as soon as I could. One night I was in house sitting alone in my room and looking outside from my window when I heard a loud howling from outside. It was like a melody. Most of the people get scared of howling but it was something soothing for me. I stood up and walks out of the house towards the jungle.

I was looking around and while following that howl I don't know how far I came from the house. It was getting dark and I have to go back before I forget the way. I turn to leave when I saw a big brown wolf standing right in front of me. My heart stopped for a minute when that wolf took small steps towards me but to my surprise it sat in front of me. I noticed something familiar. This is the same wolf that helped me. A smile spread across my face and I knelt in front of it, "Hey! It's you. You remember me?" I place my hand at at the head and felt it's soft fur between my fongers. "Thanks for helping me that night." I moved closer to it and kissed at it's fur. In the next moment the wolf jumped on me and start licking my face with his big mouth. It's really tickling me. I start laughing, "Ok boy, I know now you remember me." The wolf stopped and I looked into it's big black eyes. I sat up and wiped his Saliva off of my face. "Eww, That's nasty." I laugh and stood up, "I should get going now but I have question, was that you who was howling just now?" I hit my head with my own hand, Who am I talking to? An animal. The wolf start nodding it's head. "Woah! you could understand me?" It nod it's head again. I laugh thinking what a creature god has made. Can all the wolfs of the world could understand humans? I kissed at it's head on more time and went towards the exit of the jungle.
