Where do we begin? THE CRUSH Adolescence, a time when teens feel at a different kind of level. A level where Melvin found herself. It was a few weeks to her 16th birthday and she was preparing for her final exams in high school. She had a special kind of feeling, something different she couldn't describe. She always watched him whenever he passed by her house. Quietly and intently, she admired his features like a student in Biology class. Her friends made fun of her cos of her name. She never for once felt intimidated although she couldn't speak up for anything she wanted to, whenever she wanted to. And now "a crush??" This was definitely not something Shirley would love to feel. So she got a new phone from her parents, which she used for research and other school work. Her parents weren't as wealthy at the time to get her a laptop like her peers but she was happy eitherways. "A new phone!" Shirley begins the explorage. She creates a social media account and joins "Sip-it" It didn't sound nice but everyone she knew was signed up so she couldn't resist. Like a normal process, she was presented during the registration, a list of people within her location. She found...her crush! His name was Jason. She didn't think twice as she was overly excited and sent him a request. Well, he accepted as someone he's usually seen around. They get talking and she's going more into him. He asks her to be his girlfriend. WHAT? It was a dream come true. In no time, she said yes and told him about how she felt. It was great. Ordinarily, one could say she was too fast, but she wasn't, this took months as she continued to act like she was indifferent (indifference was definitely a description of who she was).
