Nightmare

CHAPTER 6

Everything was dark, I was in a deep pit of eternal darkness. I can't see anything aside from my n***d body.

"Hello?" I said but no one answered aside from the echoes that came back to my position. I don't know what to do, or even where I am. I just walked even if I don't know where I'll be heading. All I know is that, I should continue walking.

While I'm walking on this endless path, I suddenly heard voices that made me flinched.

"Yushiro-kun... Yushiro-kun..." I turned on where the voice came from, but I found nothing. I looked on every direction, yet the darkness is what welcomed me. I continue walking until my bare feet gives up. I was stunned when strings of darkness engulfed me which makes me unable to move

I can't breathe. I can't move.

"YUSHIRO-KUN!!" my eyes opened when a familiar voice shouted. I saw Sora-san who looks so worried. Si it's just a dream; no, a nightmare.

I sat on the bed while wiping my sweats. I was chasing my breathe, maybe because of the feeling of helplessness and loneliness on the dark pit.

"Are you okay?" Sora-san asked, I am not okay but I forced myself to smile to lessen her worries.

"I'm okay, I just had a... nightmare," I said. She looks a bit shocked.

"N-Nightmare?"

"Yes why?" I asked. Does having a nightmare is a rare case? Though, I always have nightmares in the human world.

"Having a nightmare in high-leveled security kingdoms is a bit alarming. In every establishment, a light protection seal where placed. Nightmares are caused by demons, but it's impossible for a demon to go here because your room was protected by multi-layered shield. Unless..." she explained. I learned new things that mat help me someday.

"Unless what?"

"Unless a high-level demon is lurking here, in Woofia. And defitely, it was one of the Seven shadows of Alheim," I was shocked on what she said. I was fed up with lots of informations with just a very short time.

Seven shadows of Alheim?

High-level demons?

Those questions are bugging my mind.

"Can you explain further?" I asked. I can't fully understand what she said. It made me confused and afraid at the same time.

"I'll tell you later, for now get some rest and I'll just get some food to eat," she said so I laid down on my bet and cleared my mind."

A few minutes later, Sora-san came back with a tray of foods and drinks. My stomach growled so she chuckles. What can I do? I haven't eaten for several hours. She put the tray on my bed.

"Eat first then I'll answer all of your questions," she said. I just nodded and started eating. I'm glad that this world doesn't have weird and disgusting foods that I watch in anime.

After I eat, I stood up and stretched my body. "By the way, how long did I sleep?" I asked. My body feels heavy that's why.

"3 days, I guess," she said. Oh okay-3 days?!! Did I lay down on that bed for such a long time?

"You lose a lot of your mana; it was drained actually. The healers of this kingdom tried to heal you but it wasn't enough. I'm glad that you recovered quickly," she said then smiled.

Oh, I remember now. Sora-san and I fought that day. She was too strong so I was no match on her. But I can't remember if I defeated her or not.

"You have questions, right?" she reminded. I sat on the chair and get ready for the information that will fill my mind. "First of all, what is the power of demons?" I asked.

"Demons were created because of the hatred and sadness that resides on their soul. It was a curse inflicted to all creatures in this world. Everyone can be a demon if you lose sight of light or good deeds," she explained. So, a demon came from itself? It sounds weird but they created their own demon. They let themselves be eaten with darkness. Though, I can't blame them. Every person has their own problems, but it's up to them on how they will solve it.

"Since they came from hatred, they release the same. Some demons live by eating human flesh while some can live by eating people's fear. But only high-level demons can do those," she said.

"So, about that high level demons and Seven shadows of Alheim, can you explain about it?" I asked. I want to know all the information to be able to fight properly. I f I know their origins, I may stand a chance against them even if I lack on experience.

"I can't tell you much information right now, but the Seven Shadow of Alheim are the demons that was created by Alheim itself. They didn't become demons on their own, they are forced to." I clenched my fist because of what I heard. I can't imagine how bad that demon is.

"I think you already know much. I'll tell you more when you passed the eternal training, we're here to train you, you're still weak compared to others. Go and take a bath, we will train after it," Sora-san said as she walked out of the room.

When she went out, I went to the bathroom and started taking a bath. The water here is warm and feels like it's slowly healing me. Maybe this water was filled with magic.

After that, I went out and find some clothes to use. I decided to wear simple white shirt and brown trousers. Boots for my feet and some iron plates to cover the weak parts of my body. I tried to find a sword or even a wooden one but I didn't find any.

There's a bag on the table beside my bed so I decided to look what's in it. A smile curved on my lips when I saw many small potions and paper seals. I guess this day will be fun.
