{Margo’s POV} Once we made it back home they carried Alexi down to the basement and I sat down on the couch. I was finally able to look at my wound and assess the damage. “I’m definitely going to need stitches!” I said, looking down. It was deep, but the blood had stopped so I don’t think he hit an artery. “Should we take you to the hospital?” Max said, walking over and looking at it. “It’s really deep!” He gasped. “I’m not sure, we could just call someone to come stitch it up.” I said, gazing up at him. “You were really bada** tonight bambina! You looked awesome, and you took him down quickly! It was incredible, training with us has really come in handy!” Mikey walked over placing a hand on my shoulder. Marco walked in with a first aid kit. “I can stitch it up for you bambina!” He said, sitting down on the floor next to me. He handed me a bottle of whiskey and I opened it taking several big gulps. I handed it back to him and he poured it over the wound. I hissed at the burning pain, then he pulled out a needle and some medical brand thread. He began to suture my wound closed and once it was done he handed me back the whiskey. I took another drink and smiled up at him. I giggled, slightly drunk. “That barely hurt!” I stood up and walked around a bit. “Feels much better!” I grabbed Viktor’s belt and decided to go wash it off. Once it was clean I took it up to my room and looked down at my dress. I guess I should change out of this, but I felt pretty. I decided to leave it on, but took off my shoes. I grabbed some bandages and gauze and wrapped up my leg, then made my way back down the stairs. “Alexi is secured.” Angelo said, talking to my father. “I had the men search him, they took everything they found and destroyed it.” He said coldly. “Good, we’ll get some answers out of him!” Dad said, turning and making his way down into the basement. I started to follow but Angelo stopped me. “You stay up here for now, we’re going to interrogate him for a while, and we’ll come get you when that parts over!” He ordered. “But Angel.. I..” I started but he cut me off. “But nothing Margo! I’m doing this to make sure you’re safe!” He said, turning and stalking down the stairs. I sighed and walked into the living room plopping down on the couch. I drank down more of the whiskey, my body beginning to feel hot and kinda itchy as I sat there. I heard a soft knock on the door, and carefully made my way to it, peering out of the peephole. I could see Viktor standing there, looking anxious. I opened the door and smiled up at him. “Hey..” I said softly. “Are you okay?” He asked, looking over me, worry painted all over his face. I grabbed his hand and pulled him into the house, locking the door behind him. “I’m alright.” I said, turning and walking back into the living room. I picked up the whiskey and took another drink from it. “I’ve dealt with worse over the years. This was nothing!” I smiled. He looked down at me, closing the space between us. “I’m sorry Margo..” he said softly. “I should have found you sooner..” his voice sounded broken. “Hey..” I said, turning to him and placing my hand on his chest. “Don’t..” I shook my head. “Please don’t do that.” I smiled softly at him. “You shouldn’t feel sorry, that’s what Alexi will be doing!” I said, turning back around and making my way towards the stairs. I motioned for him to follow me, as I lead him up to my room. As we walked in, I shut the door and locked it behind me, then I grabbed his belt and handed it back to him. “How’s your leg?” He asked. I slid it out from my dress, allowing the slit to fall around my leg. “It’s all stitched up, and I even bandaged it!” I smiled setting down the bottle of whiskey, and pulling out my flask from my pocket. I sat it down on my bedside table and sighed. “Are you sure you’re okay?” He asked, his eyes watching me intently. “I have to admit.. I didn’t expect you to handle the situation at the ball the way you did..” I laughed. “I know.. everyone expects me to hide away, to cower and cry..” I said, turning to look up at him. I motioned to the chair in front of the fireplace as I lit it up. He sat down in the chair, and watched me as I struck a match and threw it into the fireplace. Soon the fire was blazing, and crackling. “I’m not afraid of people like him..” I turned to face him, leaning against the wall. “I’m not really afraid of anyone anymore..” I walked towards him, positioning myself between his long legs. “Margo..” he breathed out huskily. “You know that we shouldn’t be alone in here like this..” he said, his voice rumbling in his chest. “Why? Are you afraid of what I may do to you?” I giggled, sliding my leg up, placing my knee between his legs. “Yes, I’m terrified!” He joked, laughing slightly. “Out of all of the men that have come into my life, you’re the one who has devoted the most time to me. The one who has talked to me every single day since we first started talking. The one who makes me feel genuinely happy, and free..” I said, wrapping my hands around his neck, and playing with his hair softly. He eyed me up and down, keeping his head low. “What are you doing Margo?” He asked, placing his hands on my waist. I smiled at him, and leaned into his touch. “Being brave..” I whispered, leaning forward and kissing him. His hands slid around to my back as he pulled me into his chest. I climbed into his lap and pushed our bodies together, soft m**** escaping me as his hands ran across my back. I began unbuttoning his shirt and grinding my hips into his. “Margo..” he groaned out, grabbing my hands and stopping me. Half of his shirt was unbuttoned and I could see his toned chest and abs. “We can’t do this..” he said, keeping my hands wrapped up in his. “W-Why not?” I asked, pulling my hands back and standing up. “Why can’t we?” “I want to properly get to know you, in person! I want to spend more time with you, plus you’re more than a little buzzed.” He pointed out, standing up and towering over me. “So we’ll talk more about this in the morning, for now..” he leaned down kissing my cheek softly. “Get some rest..” he walked over opening the door, and standing there was Damon and Carter. They both looked between Viktor and I, and I could see anger rising in them. I sighed and turned back towards my room, “Thanks for the chat Viktor.. always a pleasure talking to you..” I walked back in and sat down on the floor in front of the fireplace, deciding that watching the chaos of flames might cheer me up.
