{Margo’s POV}
Viktor was handsome, he was taller than anyone else I knew, and his hair was a light blonde like Dimitri’s, but was shaved on the sides, and longer on top. He had it styled back, and it looked quite nice. He had bright blue eyes, that looked like crystal, and his body was lean, but muscular. I wasn’t expecting to ask him to dance, I was just so excited to finally meet him. He placed his hand gently against my waist, and I gasped as I felt his long fingers dance across the sheer fabric that covered my skin. He pulled me close to his body, as we spun around on the dance floor.
He lifted me up, as we spun, holding me over his head, then placed me back on the floor. I felt beautiful when he danced with me. His eyes never left my face, and every time I smiled, he smiled. Once the dance was over he knelt down on one knee in front of me, and kissed the back of my hand. “Thank you for the dance.” He smiled, looking into my eyes.
I smiled back leaning forward and lightly kissing his forehead. “Thank you, you were a great dancing partner.” He stood up, and let go of my hand, he turned back to his family, and I turned back to mine. As I made my way back to my family I could see Damon and Carter standing off to the side with their sisters. I walked back to Angelo and smiled as he pulled me into a hug. I looked around to my brothers and couldn’t help but feel proud, and happy. In this moment I was loved, I was cherished.
“Are you having fun bambina!” He smiled.
“Of course, I got to see Viktor in person, and got to talk to Dimitri and Daniella!” I smiled back. I pulled out my flask and took a big drink from it. I turned back to see Viktor watching me, his eyes trailing up and down my body.
“Viktor was a dear friend of ours years ago.. we lost contact for a while when he went undercover. He came back a while back, but then all of the mess with the Petrov’s made us wary of their family.” Mikey said, walking up beside me.
“He tried to help me.. he never gave up looking. That makes me trust him!” I smiled back at my brothers. “He’s very kind too, you all should probably go talk to him, maybe even catch up!” I laughed, walking to my dad. “I would like to have a dance with my father!” I looped my arm in his. “Will you dance with me dad?” I asked, smiling up at him.
He smiled down at me, a genuine, loving smile. “Of course I will my bambina!” He led me out to the dance floor and we began to spin and twirl. The lights in the room began to dim, all except for the string lights, and it was beautiful.
“Thank you dad.. for everything!” I smiled as we danced.
“Thank you, for finally coming back to us bambina! You’re everything we’ve needed for so long, and I’m so happy that you’re back home!” His eyes teared up as he twirled me out, spinning me back into his arms.
Suddenly a loud bang was heard from outside. I turned flipping dad behind me, knocking him to the ground. I raised my skirt pulling my gun as a man stalked into the room holding a gun of his own. “Well, well, well, sorry I’m late to the party!” He smirked, his eyes falling onto me. “I supposed my invitation was lost in the mail!”
“What are you doing here Alexi?” Max yelled, keeping his eyes trained on the man in the entry way slowly making his way to me.
“I came to take back Margo.. she’s been away for far too long, and the Petrov family has begun to miss their plaything!” He laughed.
“Dad is he?” I asked.
But before I could finish the man shot the gun up into the air. “Alexi Petrov, at your service m’lady!” He smirked at me, inching closer.
I aimed my gun at him, keeping it steady. “In case you didn’t notice, you weren’t invited! You need to leave, now!” I yelled out.
He laughed, hysterically. “I know what David did to you! You’re not going to shoot me!” He said confidently.
“Is that hope, or confidence?” I asked, keeping my gun pointed at him.
“You really think that you could..” he started, but he got too close. I shot out my first bullet, swiftly hitting him in the leg and knocking him to the ground. He fell, with a thud and hissed. “Y-You actually shot me!” He yelled out.
I walked closer, kicking his gun away from him. “Yeah, I did.. you should see what I did to David!” I smirked down at him. All eyes were on us, and I wasn’t about to let this jacka** get away. “It would be so easy to just end your miserable little life. One pull of this trigger.. and you’d be gone forever..” I said, squatting down beside him, my leg sliding out from the slit in my dress. “But you deserve worse than death..” I whispered to him.
“Y-You’re crazy! You can’t hurt me! I’m a Petrov!” He cried out. I slowly stood back up, kicking out the leg that was exposed by the slit and placing my foot on his chest.
“Yes, I’m crazy, truly psychotic, and it’s all because of 20 years of torment from your family. So while you’re locked away in my dungeon begging for your life tonight.. I’m going to take a nice hot bubble bath and find true, pure, ecstasy listening to your screams!” I said digging my heels into his chest. He grabbed a knife and stabbed it into my thigh, twisting it.
I stood still, unwavering, staring down into his eyes. “H-How!” He yelled. “You should be writhing in pain!” He said, twisting the knife once again. My brothers began to make their way towards us, and I could see Viktor and his siblings watching me intently. I kicked him in the stomach and placed my foot back down on his chest.
Then I grabbed the knife and pulled it out, tossing it to the ground behind me. “I’ve felt worse..” I said coldly. “And now, you will too!” My brothers all came around us and grabbed the man on the floor. I stepped away, reaching down and helping my father up. I turned to face the crowd of people that were watching us intently. “So sorry everyone, but the party will be ending early this evening. It was a pleasure to see all of you, and I’m sure we’ll all get together again soon. I’m afraid this is where we make our leave!” I said turning as my brothers were carrying the man out.
I walked confidently beside my father, and smiled at people as we left. I felt a throbbing in my leg and hissed. I looked down, and noticed blood gushing. I turned to Viktor and grabbed his belt unbuckling it and pulling it off. I wrapped it tightly around my leg and made a tourniquet. “I’ll be seeing you later, to give you your belt back.” I smiled up at him and walked out of the building with my family.
