Chapter Three

Clarlyn

My spirit was pulled back into my body. The same feeling of free falling hit me; when I started to come back the sun was shining brightly in my eyes. Blinking a few times to get use to my new surroundings. James must have guided my body out here. We were sitting close by the forest, The sound of the birds chirping the leaves slightly blowing in the light wind. James taking his arm back; looking down as he picking at the grass. Paden and Sky leaning against each other waiting patently for me to come back. "So... what do you make of that?" James asked, still not looking at me.

"That human is an annoying bitter asswhip that is going to drive me up the wall"

"Wow, that doesn't sound like anyone else we know of at all," Paden mocked. My jaw clenched; shooting him a cold glare as a small growl lift my lips.

"Are we going to look for this human when we get there?" Sky asked completely ignoring what her mate said. Her voice was like a quiet lalaby; soft and sweet. Her bleach blond hair blew around her making her look like goddess. Sky's gift is healing, she has a way better connection to the earth around her than we go. Making her skin almost glow.

"We might as well so we can figure out what he has to do with all of this." I grumbled a little annoyed that this is the first ever vision I didn't understand.

"Did I hear that correctly? Clarlyn Petrova of all people is stumped! How does it feel being one of us now? Not knowing s**t" Paden smirked with almost a challaging look. He was really starting to pissing me off and he knew it. I was about to lunge at him but unfortunately for me Sky stept in right in time to save her mate's ass.

"Okay before Clara kills Paden, we should go for that run." Sky stood up slipping off her yellow sun dress folding it nicely by a tree. Paden watching her every move like it's the last time he is going to see her. The three of us followed her pursuit taking of our clothing. I launched myself through the air as my body shifted into my other form in mid air. I landed on my paws kneading the ground beneath me, I stretched my back I loved this form I felt stronger and more powerful. looking back at my friends; Sky the smallest of us pitch black tiger was pouncing on Padens back her design on her body glowed as the sun hit it like the rest of us. Paden looking back at her trying to nip her ears playfully. James was shaking his fur out, he wasn't paying attention to me as I circled him when I found his blind spot I pounced landing on his back.

"Hey what was that for?" James question telepathically. I stared down at him as he rolled over to face me.

"for fun," I shrugged, I stepped away so he could get up."Want to go hunting?" facing the forest.

"Yeah I'm hungry," he rolled himself back on to his paws. I started to run; I could hear James running after me. The deeper we got into the woods we could hear the larger animals more and the smaller ones scampering across the forest floor. "Do you smell that?" James asked as he had his nose lifted into the air. I upraised my head in a energetic move. The sent of a bear wafted towards us coming from the north.

"I will distract him from the front and you attack him from behind him," we started to sprint towards the bear. running so fast the trees were a blur, soon as we got close James split away from me so ge he could go around the bear. The closer I got the slower I became and the lower I crouched down to hid my body behind the bushes. I sat there watching the bear eat the berries off of another bush. I noticed somthing was moving near its hind legs. A small cub toppled over; the cub looked around trying to figure what had happen. Then a second cub pounced on its sibling. My heart started to pound in my chest; I felt as if I couldn't breath. I felt terrible that I was about to make two cubs motherless. looked past the mother and her cub to see James. when I made eye contact with him I shook my head at him. He gave me a slight nod. I couldn't help but let my mind wonder to the past where I lost my two precious loved ones. I could start hearing my heart beat inside my head, as my vision started to blur. I didn't even noticed I shifted back to my human form. I huddled into fetal position. trying to get my breathing and heart to slow down. I could barely see James who was back into his human form. I could slightly hear him through my fast pacing heart beat. I could feel is soft warm hand touching my elbow. He had a panic look on his face. I could somewhat hear him scream for Sky. I could feel Padens and Sky's presence what felt like forever waiting for them. James hand was replaced with Sky's. I could feel her power moving through my body.

"what's going on?" James asked worrie clearly coming from his voice.

" she is having a panic attack; I'm just going to make her sleep through it." I felt her hand leave my arm then the palm of her finger tips touch my cheek. The darkness slowly started to take me under as sky slowed my heart.

"What happened?" Padens voice echoed around me. Then everything was gone...
