Waking up, I noticed the sun was rising showing the morning colors. I saw a flickering light behind me and thought that my lantern must have been lit. Turning around I was met with James reading one of my books. "Dont you ever get tired of reading this crap?" Jame muttered without taking his eyes off of it.
"No because it's not like our world. Humans believe in fairy tails, not the truth." I giggled noticing he was reading twilight.
"This book is so lovey dovey I'm surprised you would even read this." He rolled his eyes as he closed it and threw the book at his feet.
"Why do you think I wouldn't read love stories?"
"Because you get tense everytime Paden and Sky show any affection towards each other." James stated all matter of factly.
"Yes, well, when I read I can get out of my own brain then I can enjoy things."
"fair enough," James stretched like a cat. Trying to get more comfortable.
"What time is it?" I asked
"Almost five o'clock in the morning." He said as he looked at his watch. I couldn't believe I was out for almost 24 hours! Sky and her stupid powers knocked me out for so long I almost wouldn't have the chance to yell at my father. But I was more pissed off of my display of emotions that came through.
"When are we leaving?" I asked as I sat up. My long midnight black hair pooled around me.
"we are heading to the airport in an hour." James yawned as I stood up from my bed. I walked to my vanity and lit up another lantern. My night vision was very good, i didn't even need the light to help me see. I did it out of habit more than need. I grabbed my golden hair brush that sat perfectly on the table. I pulled my long hair over my shoulder so I could reach the ends. I noticed James watching me closely. I could tell me wanted to say something; but thing was: did he have the balls to say it?
I watched him through the mirror waiting. His dark almost black hair was nicely tied back like he always had it. James wore a nice brown turtal neck with black dress pants. He was always the prim and proper one. James was the complete gentleman compared to Paden.
James
I watched Clara watching me; I know she is not dumb; I knew she wanted me to spit it out what I wanted to say. I knew her father didn't want me to say anything but I was more loyal to her than her father. Though he was my Alpha and he can put me six feet under... f**k !I dont know what to do. By the time I was done arguing with myself Clara's beautiful black hair was in a high ponytail. She was applying a little bit of mascara. Clara had this clear olive skin she never really had to do her makeup because she was naturally stunning. When we were younger all the males wanted her to choose them as her mate. Even I secretly wanted her to be mine, but then she met Loki. I still wanted her but I knew she is not in the cards for me.
El Shaddia had a plan for her, it was just the matter of time when she got out of her stubborn ways.
She rolled her eyes, "well I'm going to talk to my father before we leave." I knew when she says have a talk she really means she is going to start an argument.
I watched her swiftly walk to the bathroom. she always did everything with such grace. Watching her fight or even dance you couldn't help but watch. Clara exited out of the bathroom right into her walk-in closet. I could see that the maids took out most of her clothing. After a few minutes she called out, "Can you help me?"
"yes" I said answering her back. Quicky I jumped off the bed with no human speed. I was standing behind Clara; she was wearing this tight black dress that hugged her curves perfectly. I slowly grabbed the zipper and glided it up. Brushing her back skin. I could see the slight quiver her body made. A small smile reached across my face. "There all done," I whispered in her ear. I watched her face through the body length mirror. She had on her poker face on. I was her safe place, I knew that much. I was the only one besides her dad that could control what she sees.
"Thank you James," she was so quiet if a human was in here they wouldn't be able to hear her. I could feel her slightly leaning back into my body. I could tell she was lonely without Loki. I wanted to comfort her; but I knew we would both regret it. She bent down and pulled on a pair of black stilettos. When she stood up she was right at my shoulders. As she was walking to the door she asked me, "could you get one of the maids to pack a few of the things I will need?"
"yes I can," Then she turned on her heal and walked out the door without even glancing back.

I felt a little bad about James because he has always been there for me. And I always seem to brush him off. I know I don't deserve him as a friend. At least I know Paden is worse than me so I dont feel quilty about how I treat him. Paden is a annoying asshole and I'm surprised he hasn't got struck by lightning. I guess his payback is Sky; a small giggle left my lips as I thought about how much she has changed him.
My face changed to be more stern as I reached my fathers study. Two guards stood straight up, not moving a single muscle except for their eyes watching people pass by. "Boys." I greeted them with a nod.
"Mrs. Patrova." they greeted back as I walked pass them. My father was hunched over dealing with a bunch of paper work.
" You know I don't appreciate it when you barge right in here." He stated with a slight hiss; not moving his eyes from the paper.
"And you know I never wanted to step foot on that land again, but here we are," I hissed back slamming the door so the guards can hear us. My Father was smart to make every room in this house sound proof.
"Well maybe you should go yell at
El Shaddia, I know he misses you." father giving me that sweet father voice. I would hear as a small girl; that voice now infuriates me now.
"I don't want to talk to him," I stomped my foot. f**k; when he treats me like a child I have this tendency to act like one.
"Do you know how badly I wanted to stop talking to him after your mother? But I didn't because you cant keep running from his plan." My fathers voice still even not giving away how pissed he is.
" I don't know what kind of game your playing at old man but I won't fall for it!" by the pissed off look from my dad I knew my eyes had flashed at him. I could feel my teeth growing out of anger and hunger. I need to eat before I fully lose my s**t.
" I'm not playing at any game I just need you to go there, And stop disrespecting me!" his voice echoed around me. Opies there it is; a small smile crept across my face.
"Really? your not? So are you telling me the best way to tell me was infront of the entire pack?" The deception was really pissing me off.
"Dont play dumb! You already know the answer to that," He leaned back in his chair crossing is arms across his chest. I tried hiding my teeth behind my lips not wanting to show my father how close I was to losing it. I hated that he used the pack to get his own way.
"What exactly do you want me to do?" I grumble under my breath.
"Train there warriors, help them fight their pest infestation werewolves has moved closed to their territory." He placed his hand on his desk tapping his fingers. "Oh and make sure your young there I need to stay as long as possible. Before people realize that you dont age. Also try to find humans that would want to join us." he added,
"That's a big ask." I crossed my arms leaning into my left leg. "Humans seem to not not value what we stand for anymore." I growled at the word humans.
"Clarlyn, you devalue them way too much. This would we good for you to get close to them and see they are not the same." he told me staring me right in the face.
"I cant wait to prove you wrong about the humans." I sneered back at him.
"Okay then, that's make a deal. If you find at least find one human thats willing to change. You will have to take your rightful place with a damn smile on your face."
"And if I dont find one?" I smirked know exactly what he was going to say.
"If you win, you can go on you merry way and run your life however you see fit... deal?" I knew there was something I was missing. There has to be my father is not the type to make a deal if he knew he will win it. My gift has not been the same as it use too.
"Fine, you got yourself a deal." I knew I was going to regret this. My father doesn't know I dont know what I want anymore. Maybe going back to my old life before everything wasn't a bad idea anyways. I took a bow before I was going to leave.
"Oh Clara?" Of course he always has to stop people before they left.
"Yes father?"
"Get your hunger under control before you leave. I could sense it before you even steped foot in here." he narrowed is eyes at me.
"Yes father." I bowed agian then left before he could stop me agian. o started to walk to the door so I could head out and hunt. My teeth were killing me; the hunger was really starting to get to me. I took off and left my shoes on the porch. The sun was close to being fully up now. The birds were singing their songs and dancing in the trees. I sipped it a little so I could still get it back on once I'm done. I did a head start run, as I commanded my other form to come out. Before I knew it I was on all fours my anamial instincts kicked in. I went on the prowl for an animal.

Hiding in the dark corner where Clara wouldn't see me. I watched as she stormed right out of her fathers study. I could feel her hunger raideating off of her. She had a small smile on her face. Clara has always been one of the smartest since she was a seer; but sometimes I think she forgets what her fathers gift is. He is a worrier; he has the ability to deflect most gifts or power. William also specializes in the art of war. Meaning he can see things from a mile away and he always wins. Even better for him he knows his daughter in how she thinks. She probably walked into his trap without even knowing it. I waited until she was gone until she went out the front door. Once the door closed behind her I stepped into the light, and walked into William's study.
"James, I knew you would come see me before you guys left." He looked up from his papers, having a huge grin on his face.
"Alpha William," I bowed to him in respect.
"Tell me, does she know about the boy?" He asked leaning back into his chair.
"Yes Alpha," looking at him he seems very distressed.
"hmmm, her going back to Loki's pack seems to be messing with her more than I thought."
"Well, she hasn't been close with El Shaddia for at least a hundred years now; since that incident. That's going to make her gift weaker." I stated, she must know that. I havent been a le to get her to spill anything to me. I cant ask her out right because she might be getting weaker but she can still easily kill me.
"Yes well I need you to help her get close to him agian. So she is stronger when she is to take my place." William pointed his large finger at me. I dont understand she told me she didn't want to become Alpha because she will have to mate agian. what is she playing at? Is she playing chicken with her father?
"Yes Alpha," I so badly wanted to tell him he is crazy and that when she finds out she will hang me by my toes. I did a slight bow and I was about to walk out the door...
"Oh James," William stopped me. I closed my eyes... damn I thought I was free. why does this male do this every single time?
"yes Alpha?"
"You make sure that other part of the vision never gets to her!" William's eyes narrowed at me. I could feel the Alpha command waying down on me. The harshness surrounding me almost making he want to drop yo my knees. It was so strong only him or when Clara takes her place could undo it... Fuck
