Clarlyn
Getting on the highway I was driving my navy blue 1902 Cadillac; that I cant seem to part with. My father was driving infront of me with my yellow 1932 Ford Coupe. James was behind me driving his back 2016 diesel that was pulling the car that I have been fixing. Paden and Sky was behind him driving the newest 2016 Jaguar.
My father took a sharp turn into our private airport. I was following close behind him as we made our way to the plane. Once I turned off the engine I slipped out of the car with much ease. Before I could process it I was in my fathers arms. It had been years since I had gotten a hug from him.
"Fly my little bird," he whispered in my ear. It has always been his little way of saying he loved, and trusted me.
"I love you too," I hugged him back.
"I will be there in December, to bring some pack members over." He leaned back to look in my eyes.
"Okay, I will see you then." I gave him a small smile. He fully let go of me, then he walked off the plane. When he was off if it he turned back to me and gave me a wave. I waved back; let the games being.
"Oh, Clara, remember our deal." A small smirk appeared on his face. It's always like him to have the last say once agian. Had to ruin a good moment. I rolled my eyes in response and walked to the front of the plane. As I was walking the large door started ascend. When I opened the door James, Paden, and Sky had already taken their seats.
"Had a good daddy daughter talk?" Paden asked teasingly. I once agian rolled my eyes in response; and took my seat by James. He still had this guilty looking expression on his face. The man needed to get a grip.
The plane had started to move to gain speed to take off. I looked out the window and saw my father who had already shifted and was staring at us. The plane finally had lifted off, going straight into the air. Paden looked as if he was going to throw up.
"Having some issues there Paden?" I asked, grinning from ear to ear.
"Shut up Clara; I don't know how you guys are dealing with it." He started to look paler; his nails had been extended. The nails were pearcing the cushions. "Why didn't we take the boat like last time? We are tigers we are ment to be near ground not the f*****g sky." he added. Sky leaned into him, and started to whisper sweet things to calm him. I decided I would get more comfortable; before he blows chucks everywhere. I closed my eyes; trying to ignore the fact I'm in the sky and where I was heading too. I could feel James shifting in his seat. The guilt that was running off of him more was starting to drive me up the wall.
"James, calm down. Your starting to really bother me." I stated while I still had my eyes closed.
"I'm sorry," he apologized sounding a lot like he was sorry for more than just annoying me.
"Dont apologize, I know," I smiled a little. It's nice knowing he was worried about me.
"You know about what?" he asked freezing in his spot. I could hear his heart beating faster than usual.
"Do you forget what my gift is? That it gives me wisdom?" I could hear Paden and Sky stop talking to listen to our conversation.
"No!" James shot. I could tell he was scared that he had offended me.
"I know my father has commanded you to keep your mouth shut. So please for the love of El Saddia relax." I stated with my smile growing. "I know what I'm doing. I just wont tell you because I don't need my father in my business." I added.
James
Hearing that my mind went running. What did she mean? Does she know what her father wants? Is she planning something else? So many questions that she cant answer because her father could get the answers out of me. f**k.
"James really don't stress yourself out about this. I Have been planning this for a very long time. Whatever he throws my way I can handle it." She stated still having her perfect eyes closed. I could tell she was relaxed; but that is what made me nervous. She was way to relaxed. Her heart was beated evenly. Then a thought popped into my head; what if her power never weakened! Why would she fake that? What was going on in that beautiful head of her's.
I looked back at Paden who had his eyebrow raised. Sky's eyes were widened.
"Do you think..." Paden voice echoed inside my head. Before he could finish his sentence I nodded to him. "Fuck." was all he had to say. The three of us were all stunned she was playing a game with her father but now I'm starting to think she was playing it way before he joined in.
It was a long eight and and a half hour flight. Clara sat there the whole time pretending to sleep. Paden and Sky had gone to the back to do El Shaddia knows what. I sat here stuck inside my mind. Wondering what Clara has planned. I was exhaust sitting here and all I wanted was to get to my room and lay down. I stayed in Clara's room reading her honorable books. Making sure she was okay. I know Clara was a strong female but I know she was still fragile.
Then I finally felt the plane touch base. We all started to get ready to head out.
