"Ominous Cave" Chapter 1
In the midst of a blissful slumber, a girl awakens to the harsh reality of the day that lies ahead. Determined to make the upcoming day a good one, she rises from her cozy haven and ventures into the steamy embrace of the shower, disregarding the summer heat. Emerging from the scalding cascade, she hastily dons her attire, yearning for relief from the scorching water that had kissed her back. With her trusty phone and a pair of sleek black boots in hand, she readies herself for the task she had vowed to complete. Armed with a mechanical pencil, a torn piece of paper, and a rope she had procured beforehand, she assures herself that she will see it through. Stepping out into the world, she sets her sights on the dense woods that lie before her. "This seems like the perfect spot," she murmurs, gathering her materials. Suddenly, a peculiar creature scurries past her, contorting and transforming into a grotesque figure. It dons a mask reminiscent of a bandit, sending shivers down her spine. Fear grips her, yet she remains silent, observing the creature fixated on a mysterious cave that materialized out of thin air. Oblivious to her presence, the creature's gaze remains fixed ahead, while the girl's face turns pale and she breaks into a cold sweat. In a sudden twist, the creature turns its attention back to the girl, its body still focused on the cave. A bone-chilling c***k reverberates through the air, as if the creature's very essence had shattered. Slowly, a sinister smile creeps across its face, while it continues to levitate towards the cave. Shocked and trembling, the girl stammers, "W-what was that just now?" Her heart pounding, she is consumed by a thought, questioning the nature of what she has witnessed. Driven by that very thought, she fearlessly ventured forth into the heart of the cave. As she descended deeper into the abyss, the dwindling light cast eerie shadows, causing her to question her audacious decision. Just as she contemplated retracing her steps, her footing betrayed her, plunging her into a narrow crevice. Unconsciousness enveloped her, and in that vulnerable state, the creature lurking within the cave was awakened by the thunderous echoes of dislodged rocks. Stirred by curiosity, it ventured closer to investigate the source of the disturbance. Gradually, the girl regained consciousness, her mind clouded with confusion. Slowly, the memories of her impulsive choice resurfaced, compelling her to seek an escape route. As she delved further into the cavernous depths, she stumbled upon a corridor adorned with seemingly empty cells. Intrigued, she peered into each one, her imagination conjuring images of a sinister torture chamber, igniting a spark of excitement within her. Yet, this fleeting joy was short-lived, for the corridor proved disappointingly brief. The cave stretched on, beckoning her forward. Suddenly, she stumbled upon a peculiar black line, lurking ominously in a corner. Recognition dawned upon her as she locked eyes with the very creature she had encountered in the forest. Panic seized her, propelling her to flee in the same direction from whence she came, her hand pressed firmly against the wall to prevent any missteps. The feeble glow emanating from the corridor, barely illuminating the vast expanse of the cave, guided her towards a narrow passageway. With a burst of speed, the creature transformed into a grotesque, fast-crawling mutant, relentlessly pursuing the girl after a calculated twenty-second delay. Desperation fueled her search for an escape, and in a stroke of luck, she discovered a bent bar on one of the cells. With nimble movements, she squeezed herself into the confining space, seeking refuge from the relentless pursuit. In the dimly lit corridor, a relentless creature pursued her, its eerie crawl sending shivers down her spine. A startled yelp escaped her lips, causing the creature to halt abruptly, fixating its gaze ahead. Frantically, she clamped her hands over her mouth, desperately muffling her breath. The grotesque being lingered, its presence looming, before finally relenting and veering towards the spot where the girl had stumbled. Seizing this fleeting opportunity, the girl cautiously and noiselessly made her way towards the place where the creature had materialized before her. As she ventured deeper into the labyrinthine maze, time seemed to warp and distort, playing tricks on her senses. Although only an hour had passed since she embarked on her exploration, it felt as though an entire day had slipped away. Gradually succumbing to a creeping sense of hopelessness, she stumbled upon a peculiar green wooden door. The room that the door was being held captive in was beyond unnaturally square, defying the laws of nature. With trepidation, she pushed open the door, revealing a seemingly endless road adorned with rolling emerald hills. The sky above blended the hues of morning and dawn, casting an ethereal glow. Utterly bewildered, her confusion reaching its zenith, the creature forcefully shoved her to the ground, sealing the door shut. Fear gripped her, yet a strange satisfaction washed over her, knowing that her ordeal within the cave had finally concluded. Casting her gaze towards the left, her eyes fell upon a cryptic sign that read, "Don't Wander." Perplexed by its meaning, she attempted to reopen the door, but to her dismay, it had vanished without a trace, leaving her stranded in this enigmatic realm.
