My boyfriends best friend

Olivia: It’s a beautiful Saturday morning, the birds are chirping and the sky is clear. I roll out of bed and head downstairs to get a cup of coffee. The smell is so enticing of fresh brewed coffee. After I down two cups I head upstairs to get dressed for the day. Today is going to be a great day, I’m supposed to meet with Ryan at eleven am sharp, we are supposed to be going to the local fair, we’ve been planning this day for two months. It’s supposed to be a fun day to relax and enjoy ourselves since we have both been working a lot. So I got dressed in my favorite blue sundress that has crisscross straps on the back and delicate lace trim at the bottom and paired it with my favorite pair of tan sandals, i threw my hair up into a cute messy bun, applied a little make up nothing to drastic. I look down at my phone and see it’s 10:25 am, I quickly gather my things and head out the door of the house. Arriving to Ryan’s house I notice a semi familiar car in the drive way. Could that be Lucas? Lucia is Ryan’s best friend, they have been friends since high school, practically did everything together up until after university. After school was over and we had all graduated, Ryan got a internship at a big law firm here in Kansas, and Lucas went to California for a engineering internship. I pull into the driveway and begin making my way to the front door, and just as I’m about to knock Ryan opens the door “there you are we thought you were going to be late” I thought to myself “we, who is we” but just before I can ask who’s car is in the driveway I see him walking up, it was indeed Lucas with his curly brown hair, the curls framing his face ever so intricately, those beautiful blue eyes, and his giant arms. “Hi Olivia it’s been a while.” He says ever so lightly. And I return the gesture “long time, no see”. We all move into the house and sit down at the table, “anybody want a cup of coffee?” Ryan said. I’ve already had two, I responded. When are we supposed to go to the fair? “We were just waiting on you to arrive” says Lucas. “So he was going with us” I thought to myself. Ryan says “we can leave whenever you guys are ready to.” I’m ready whenever you want to leave is fine,I responded, And just like that we all loaded into one car and began making our way to the fair.
