I took a deep breath before entering the house of the people I recognized as my parents. Amanda immediately stood up when she saw me and approached with a fake smile.
"We thought you weren't coming, Ceelin. Your grandmother's spirit will be upset with you if you haven't come" she said to me as if nothing bad had happened between us. She held my arm and guided me to the sofa.
