Miles' eyes were red when she returned to her desk. Phil had called her into his office earlier. I think she was fired by him. Phil took action against her. It was Miles' fault that she was fired. She was arrogant and a bully. She deserves what she got.
"Why are you packing your things, Miles? Did Mr. Salvatore fire you?" Gemma inquired as she approached Miles' desk.
