WE won our first game. It was not an easy feat. We were up against a strong team. They are a constant quarterfinalist and even went to a championship round in a competition abroad. When we first knew that they will be our first opponent, it affected our team’s moral. We are not a weak team but we were still pressured. I am pressured. I badly want to win the Youth League and it is my last year in senior high. I don’t want to lose.
That was why I felt like I will fly to the sky when we won. It was hard but a fulfilling game. I wanted to hug everyone. I wanted to shout and laugh and cry at the same time. I was overwhelmed with too much emotions while in the middle of the court as my team and I celebrate our win when I sensed him.
