The Most Beautiful Girl In Salem

1123 Words
We stop at the gas station on the way to school and I peek at Alice while she's looking in the visor mirror. She is so damn beautiful. A guy walking into the gas station sees me pumping gas and he makes a rude comment. "Well, I'd say it's Halloween with the way you two are dressed. Oh wait, it's too early! Haha! You're a couple of freaks living up to Salem's reputation." I get so mad that my powers take control and it causes the wind to nearly blow him off his feet. He looks at me with a hint of fear in his eyes and scurries into the gas station. I peek back at Alice and see her looking at me with wide eyes. I put the pump back, close the gas tank and get back in the car, not saying a word as I drive to school. The whole way, Alice doesn't take her eyes off me. "Okay, what was that?" I look at her with a fake confusion on my features. "Oh, don't play dumb!" She slaps my arm. "I saw what you did with the wind. How did you do that?" "I didn't do anything. I just glared at the guy for being an ass and the wind happened to pick up. We live in Salem Massachusetts. Weird s**t happens here." Alice gave me a look saying she didn't believe me and we would finish the conversation later. We pulled up into the school parking lot and her friends and boyfriend were waiting to greet her. "Well, if it isn't the most beautiful girl in Salem!" Jason says as he gives Alice a hug and kiss. She didn't seem to be feeling it today. What's up with her? I kissed her on the cheek and gave her a side hug. "Gonna go to class, happy birthday, Alice." She smiled and kissed me on my cheek. "Happy birthday, bestie!!!" I smiled at her and nodded at the others before going to class. Jason looked pissed that our best friend bond was stronger than their relationship. That was enough for me at the moment. I went to my first 3 classes and then to lunch. I sat with Alice, but didn't feel welcome by the rest. Jason got mad that Alice wanted me to sit next to her instead of him. "So, Kelly and Summer?" The look at her expectantly. "You're coming over for a classic sleepover. The only boy that will be there is Sammy. Don't worry, he'll probably watch some movies and eat some pizza. He has a weekend long trip anyways. He leaves tomorrow morning and we both don't have to go to school tomorrow. You two should stay at my house instead of going to school." Kelly pipes up. "Is there anything you need us to bring?" "Just yourselves, your makeup, anything you may need. Oh! bring your wax machine and Summer, bring that one card game and some scary movies. Sammy won't let me near his collection." Alice sends a pouty face my way. I noticed Jason stiffen every time she called me Sammy and especially when she made adorable face. "You can watch a few of my movies. But bring back ups in case mine are too scary, you wimps." I chuckle to myself and stand up. "Where you going?" Alice grabs my arm. "Just going to ask Kent to cover my weekend shifts because I forgot to ask off." "Must suck to have to work for everything. My dad just buys me what I want or need." I glare at Jason. "My dad is plenty rich enough to buy me things, I choose to work so I'm used to when I eventually own the corporation. A little integrity never killed anyone either. Have a little common sense. Maybe if you used as much of that as you do, cologne, there might actually be a class you'd pass." I hug Alice and leave. "See you at 3 o'clock, Al!" I hollered over my shoulder. ALICE'S POV The bell rings not long after Sam leaves. I head to class with Kelly and Summer. We have the next two classes together. "Have either of you noticed how bad boy sexy Sam is?" Summer asks us. "Oh, I have definitely noticed. He makes me want to do bad things. Really bad things." Kelly responds. They both look at me. "How could I not notice? I've known him since I was 5 and he's always been the bad boy. He's just so close to me that I don't think he'd accept everything in a romantic way." "Oh my gawd!! You have feelings for him!" Summer whisper yells. "She wants to do bad things to him." Kelly waggles her eyebrows. "Guys, I'm with Jason and I don't even think he feels that way about me." "Girl, are you blind, deaf, AND feeling impaired? That boy wants to f**k you repeatedly and whisper sweet nothings in your ear afterwards." Kelly says in a matter of fact way. I turn beet red and just shake my head. The next two classes go by slowly. Ugh, I just wanna see my Sammy. Wait, why was I thinking about Sam? Maybe because his lips are perfect. Oh, I'd love to suck on those lips and pull those piercings with my teeth. The moans of pleasure that would come from his beautiful mouth would be music to my ears. And, those piercing eyes, it feels like he can see my soul. That deep voice. The way it sounds when he says my name. Gawd, I want him! The school bell interrupts my thoughts and I rush to the car so I can see him in his perfect glory. I catch him leaning against the car with his head tilted back and his eyes closed. He has a small smile on his face. I wonder what he's thinking about. I glance the long eyelashes resting on his cheekbones. He opens his eyes to see me staring at him. "Sorry, you just looked so relaxed." He laughed and stretched his arms up, leaning back slightly. I saw the line of dark hair from his belly button disappear under his jeans. I licked my lips. He gave me a questioning look when he noticed me staring again. I was clearly zoned out. "You okay?" He touched his hand to my forehead and I guess he couldn't tell if I was warm or not, so he kissed my forehead like my mom used to do. "No fever. You do look flushed and you feel a little clammy, though. Do we need to cancel the sleepover? I'll make you some soup." I shake my head and we go home.
