CHAPTER 10

Bella POV:

It's been a week I am working for Harrington Enterprises and till now everything is going on smoothly. Mr. Harrington normally doesn't talk to me as Ms Hills is usually there whenever he needed so he talks to her. But whenever he needs someone to take his anger on he calls me. I know this because I have experience this four times in a week. Like this one

Flashback

I was working on Mr. Harrington schedule and Ms Hills was talking to the client on phone. The buzzer buzz and Mr. Harrington voice came through it calling us to come in his office. Usually he says Ms Hills only so I know by now that when he needs me my name would he called. So I though it must to Ms hill as sir usually doesn't call me so I told her and she went in office. I was working when immediately Ms Hills come out and told me the Mr. Harrington was calling me.

I thought finally he decided I am his secretary. I don't know why I used to feel bad whenever he ignore me or give importance to some other person specially ladies. I got up from my sit and went in his office. His chair's back was to me and he was reading some file. I called him "Sir, you called me."

He swirled his chair around facing me and what I saw made me freeze at the spot. His eyes were bloodshot red and anger can see it. Actually his whole body was radiating anger. I subconsciously took my step back as he stands from his sit.

He had a file in his which was Ms Hills was working. I was about to speak as why did he call me.

He shouted "What the hell is this Ms Rose. I had told to complete printing this file not to make changes in it." I didn't know what to say as that file was done by Ms Hills not me. I was about telling him about that but he again shouted this time his hands were in fist and his knuckles were white. This time I got sacred and didn't utter a word. He then said "Ms Rose if you can't handle this simple work also you have Ms Hills with you. What will happen when she will retire? I seriously doubt you would be able to work under pressure.

I eyes started feeling with water but he was unable to see as I was looking down. He was talking but I was zoned out the moment he started doubting my capability. I wanted to yell at him and tell him that the reason he is blaming me is not done by me, but I kept quite as I needed this job. As this job was a hope through which I can secure my future and also of some children in orphanage.

He then told to get out of hisoffice and gave me warning saying that if I make a mistake again he will fireme right at that moment. I quickly went out and dashed toward washroom as I wasunable to control my emotion.

Ms Hills called me but I didn't listen to herand when inside washroom and locked the door. Tears started falling from myeyes as his words were still there in my mind. I can see the hate he had for mein his eyes when he was shouting. After washing my face I came out and startedworking. Ms Hills came to me and said sorry as it was her fault. I ask her how sheknew she then told she had to Lucas's office to ask what happened and she alsotold him that was her fault. I expected an apology from him but no such luckinstead I again got yelling for coming late to office and he started telling meabout to behave professionally.

End of flashback.

Today I was just hoping he won't yell at me. I don't why I was feeling sad whenever he get angry at me and the way he speaks with me. I had not seen his smile yet I from inside I wanted to see him laugh.

Just before a lunch break a beautiful women wearing sexy dress came in my office asking me about Lucas. I was about to speak but he came out and seeing him the girl practically jumped on him and he also hug her smiling. I was looking at his smiling face he looked so handsome with his smiling face. I was happy that I got to see him smile but I was jealous the way girl was hugging him and she was the one who made him smile. I wanted him to smile for me and hug and kiss me. Thinking of those things made me blushed. I was brought back from my thoughts when that Mr. Harrington told me to that he is going out for lunch. I just nodded while he and the girl were smiling at each other walk way. I wish I could that power in which I can make this girl disappear. The girl was same as my age I can guess. She had black hair and blue eyes like Lucas. She was gorgeous and had a perfect figure. She was so beautiful and must be rich by her dressing. I was sulking and thinking where they had gone, what were they doing, does he like her etc whole day as Lucas called and told me to cancel all the meeting.

At night we girls had night out and when for dinner at a restaurant and we had fun I had forgotten the morning thing but while we were exiting I saw all Harrington's and that women from morning were having dinner in private room. That time my smile disappeared and I felt that I can never match them.

After dinner we went to club for drinks and it was pack as it was Friday night. I had drunk too much but I was in no mood to stop. Also Juliet and Ash were also talking with the guys I don't want to disturb them so I was having drink alone. Guys came to talk to me but I didn't want to talk them I wanted to talk to only one guy but he was not at all interested in me. While I was sitting at bar a guy came he was handsome guy and he started talking with me.

Since he was sweet I also started talking after sometime Ash came and took us to dance floor. Since I was drunk I got up went at dance floor without hesitation.
